Instrument Description

Operating Instructions

1. Connect the Output Plug to the Input Terminal on the SD-9300 Environment Meter.
2. Determine the proper measuring range by using the Range Switch to minimize the tolerance of the readout. If the Over/Under Range Indicator is RED, the reading is over range and you need to select a higher range on the Range  Switch. If the Over/Under Range Indicator is GREEN, the reading is under range and you need to select a lower range on the Range Switch.
3. Point the microphone to the sound source, and the sound level will be displayed in dB on the SD-9300.
   Note: Keep the Microphone dry and away from high vibrations

Battery Replacement

When the Power Indicator does not light up when you turn the meter on, you need to change the batteries.

1. Open the Battery Cover and remove the battery.
2. Replace the battery with a new 9V and replace the cover.
