B0919 – Pan Heating Cable
Removing the front cover
To remove the front cover from the unit start by removing the back shoulder
section by prying up to get access to the screws underneath. Remove the 2
screws one left and one right to remove the front shoulder piece.
Remove the bottom pull out tray and bar below supply air to get access to the
final 6 screws to remove the cover.
With the eight screws removed the cabinet is now free to be removed by sliding straight out
With the cabinet removed now is a good time to remove the front right access
panel for access to the front side of the coil. You will need this access
later in the install.
Rotate the unit to get access to the backside and remove the large panel on
the back. This will give you access to the condensate pump and the back side
of the coil
Locate the thermal actuator remove drain line and disconnect wires from
actuator
Plug in the female connectors on the B0919 on to the thermal actuator and
route the cable up though the rubber grommet and connect the wires that were
removed from the actuator to the male connectors on the B0919 and tuck away
inside the chase.
Feed cable under coil support and secure it in place with supplied clips.Reinstall pump making sure the cable does not interfere with the float switches. Install fixing bracket as shown to keep cable in placeReinstall drain line on top of the actuator and secure any loose wires or tubes. Repeat slides 2-4 in reverse to reassemble cabinet. The heating cable will now be powered when the unit is in Heating mode
