Getting started

What’s in the box

This package contains:

If one of the items is missing, please contact your authorised supplier immediately. We recommend keeping your packaging for the length of the warranty.

We have designed the packaging to be completely recyclable. After this date, please recycle it responsibly. Keep a hold of your box for the duration of your e-scooter warranty.

Setting up your new Scooter

Your new SoFlow scooter has been thoroughly checked and part-assembled by our technicians. It’s almost ready to ride – just follow these simple set-up instructions and you’ll be ready to go!

Raise the stem
Remove the protective packaging but do not lift the scooter out of the cardboard frame just yet. Lift the stem until it clips upright into the frame.
Secure the latch
Pull down the latch mechanism until it clips securely.
- Warning!
  Do not ride the scooter if the latch is loose.
Assemble the handlebar
Connect the cables between the handlebar and the front bar. Place the console into the top of the stem. Make sure that the contact poles between the handlebar and the frontbar are well interlocked. Once the console is attached, use the Allen wrench to tighten all four screws.
Charge the battery
You can charge your e-scooter by plugging the charging cable into the charging port. Once fully charged the charger light will change from red to green.

How to fold your scooter

Unlock the safety lock
Before folding the SO ONE / ONE+, make sure that it is powered off. Hold the front bar, while you pull up the safety latch.
Fold the stem
Push and hold the safety button to fold the stem towards the rear-end fender.
Lock the handlebar
Proceed to fold it down and fix it to the rear end of the foot rest and until the folding hook is hooked in into the rear buckle.

How to use your E-scooter safely

Riding instructions

First, turn on your e-scooter by pressing and holding the power button for 2 seconds. The display will switch on.
To start riding, lift up the kickstand, place one foot on the footpad and push against the floor with your other foot to propel you forward.
After you’ve pushed yourself forward, press the throttle with your thumb steadily to start accelerating. You will need to achieve a speed of 3km/h before the throttle will engage.
Steer by turning the handlebars left and right. The steering mechanism is sprungloaded to help it return to the centre and to make it easier to steer during prolonged use.
You can slow down the e-scooter by pulling the brake lever. Braking activates both the electrical rear brake and the front drum brake.
To come to a stop, slow to almost a standstill. Then, place one foot on the ground, leaning slightly onto that foot as you come to a complete stop.

To change the Drive mode, double-press the power button. To change the speed unit between miles/hr and km/h triple press the power button. You can use NFC to lock and unlock the scooter. The location of NFC is shown in the figure above. Use your phone to touch the NFC area. For Android, open the SoFlow App, connect your scooter, and then touch NFC to lock or unlock it. For iOS, except operating as Android you also need click the notification to lock or unlock your scooter.

Quick tips to get going

The controls
- Use your right hand to operate the throttle and your left hand for the brake and indicators.
Select mode
- Switch on and press the power button twice to select your riding mode on the display. Press quickly the power button to turn on/off the lights (Modell SO ONE).
Push to start
- Simply push off the ground, then press the throttle to activate the motor.

SOFLOW APP

You can connect to your Bluetooth-enabled SOFLOW ONE / ONE+ using the app for iOS and Android devices. This enables you to use your smartphone as a dashboard that displays speed, battery level and predicted range, among other metrics. SOFLOW-SO-ONESO-ONE-E-Scooter-1000W-fig-14

Usage of “Find My” APP for SO ONE / SO ONE+

Users of an Iphone are able to connect the scooter with the “Find my” function to track the location of the scooter.

The following steps show the instructions for the model SO ONE. For the SO ONE+ please see the instructions on the next page.
Important, for all steps below the scooter screen must be on.

Setup your scooter / Add scooter

Open the “Find My” APP
Keep the SO ONE near your Iphone, then tap on + and “add other item”
Press the power button on the scooter for 1 sec. to power on the scooter
Quickly press the power button 7 times to hear one buzzer signal.
“SO ONE” will pop up on the Iphone screen, then tap “connect”.
Enter a name and choose an Emoji, then tap continue.
Tap “Register item to your Apple ID”, then continue again.
Tap “Done” to complete the setup

How to Disable
Quickly press the power button 8 times to hear one buzzer tone.
Factory Reset
Hold the brake lever and quickly press the power button 7 times to hear one buzzer tone. Then to release them.
How to exit «Disable» state
Quickly press the power button 7 times to hear one buzzer tone.
How to switch between «Nearby», «Separated» and «Disconnect»

Nearby
- Connection Status Disconnected.
Separated
- Nearby status timeout:
- Reboot (The battery of this device cannot be removed. Reboot is not supported).
- Disconnect
- Turn off the Bluetooth on your iPhone.

Enter a name and choose an Emoji, then tap continue.
Tap “Register item to your Apple ID”, then continue again.
Tap “Done” to complete the setup
