XTM 12V Control Box
12V / 24V CONTROL BOX
The XTM 12V / 24V control box is the perfect pre-wired DIY solution to power
most of your 12V / 24V accessories in one central location. Please read and
understand all the instructions carefully before installation and operation.

SAFETY WARNINGS
- Keep children and pets away from the control box.
- Installation by a licensed auto electrician is recommended.
- Always use appropriate personal protective equipment when installing.
- Always disconnect any power source, eg car battery before commencing any electrical work, to ensure person and vehicle safety.
- Always use enough gauge wiring when installing the control box. If not sure, please use the recommended cable size or contact a qualified auto electrician for correct cable size.
- Do not insert any body parts or tooling into any components.
- Ensure all exposed wires are covered.
- Do not expose the control box to wet weather.
- Ensure input cables are fused appropriately. Please use the recommended fuse or contact a qualified auto electrician for correct fuse size. Correct soldering and shrink wrapping of all joints is recommended to avoid any short circuits.
- Provide as much ventilation as possible for the control box to decrease heat accumulation.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
This control box can be mounted either vertically or horizontally and designed to be flush mounted to a flat surface.

Unscrew the 4x socket head button screws to open the cover plate using a 3mm Hex key (not included). After opening the cover plate, make sure all wiring is properly connected and no internal terminal studs are loose.

Mark and drill out the mounting holes for mounting the control box on the wall. Make sure to clean out all the aluminium swart created from drilling.

Lift the control box onto desired location, mark the locations of the drilled mounting holes on the canopy wall. Remove the box and drill the holes accordingly.

Lift the control box onto the desired location and insert the mounting bolts (not included). Tighten the mounting fasteners using nyloc nuts and washers (not included). It is recommended to use 4 x MIO bolts (not included) to secure the control box.
Large washers (not included) should be used on either side of the bolted joint to spread the load across a greater area to prevent failure or pull through of the bolt. -
Connect the positive and negative cables from the Auxiliary battery to the red and black studs in the box respectively. Connect the desired devices to be controlled to the switch load terminals in the back of the front panel as the wiring diagram below:
+ Once complete, the LED display on the voltmeter should be an indication of power going into the panel. If there is no power, check cabling, wiring, 12v switch is on, test using a 12v multimeter, or contact a licensed auto electrician.
WARRANTY
Our product is guaranteed to be free from quality and manufacturing defects
for a period of 12 months.
If your product becomes defective during this period, SRGS PTY LTD will offer
you either a replacement, credit or refund where a product is faulty; wrongly
described; different from the sample shown to you or do not do what they are
supposed to do.
This warranty will not cover substantially modified product; misuse or abuse
of the product contrary to user instructions or packaging label; change of
mind and normal wear and tear.
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian
Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure
and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You
are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to
be of acceptable quality and failure does not amount to a major failure.
To claim the warranty, take the product to the front Service Desk of your
nearest store of purchase. You will need to show receipt or other proof of
purchase. Additional information may be required to process your claim.
Should you not be able to provide proof of purchase with a receipt or bank
statement, identification showing name, address and signature may be required
to process your claim.
Any expenses relating to the return of your product to the store will normally
have to be paid by you. For online store purchases, SRGS PTY LTD will pay for
the return freight for any product assessed as having a major failure.
The benefits to the customer given by this warranty are in addition to other
rights and remedies of the Australian Consumer Law in relation to the goods or
services to which this warranty relates.
