only need to press the reset button about 1 second or you can plug the charger
to reset. (Charging in the power-on state will not reset.)
Recorder does not start
With sufficient power, but the recorder can’t be started, it is usually
because the recorder does not successfully reset when it is shut down. You
only need to press the reset button for 1 second or you can plug the charger
to reset. (The recorder will not reset by charging when it is on). 10.0.3 Time
lag occurs while viewing videos or listening to music in the APP.
When you open the APP to review the video, the video code stream is too large, so it will interfere with the Bluetooth. You need to turn off the Bluetooth temporarily and can only turn on after exiting the APP.
There is “crackling” noise when plays video in the mobile phone To play first videos downloaded from mobile apps, please turn off 4G and WIFI, then the noise will disappear.
Connected to Freedconn’s WIFI, but the mobile phone shows no WIFI network. It is normal that WIFI itself can’t access the internet, and it doesn’t affect the use. The function can be used when the WIFI connection is normal between the recorder and the mobile phone.
The mobile phone can’t find the recorder’s WIFI while it is available. The mobile phone can search the WIFI but can’t be connected.
The WIFI software version may not be compatible with the mobile phone. You can upgrade the WIFI software of R1 PLUS by contacting the manufacturer via email: service@fdcdz.com.
When turning on the recorder, the prompt indicates that it fails to start recording and need to format the memory card, but still not workable after formatting the memory card with PC.
Please download roadCam APP, start the WIFI of the mobile phone and that of the recorder ,and connect the recorder’s WIFI in the APP and rename it as Freedconn. Upon connection, find the setting options and choose the formatting function at the bottom and click to format.
TF card selection Suggest to select a 64GB genuine memory card of class 10 or
higher. High-quality TF cards have longer service life than the low-quality
ones. When the video screen becomes blurred and the frame rate decreases,
please replace the card.
The higher the TF card’s quality is, the longer time it can be used, and vice
verses.
