Warning

Please read the User Manual carefully prior to using the player, and please keep the User Manual for future reference.

Do Not Use in Extreme Temperature

  1. Do Not Use in Extreme Temperature Please do not use the player near water close to a bathtub, kitchen sink , laundry basin, swimming pool or similar locations.

  2. High heat Please do not use the player near a heat source, including a heater or other devices generating heat.

  3. Surface to be placed Put the product on a location with a flat surface.

  4.  Ventilation The product should be placed at a location with sufficient ventilation so that the product has an enough ventilated space. A space of greater than 10cm at the top and the back, and greater than Scm at both sides should be left for the product.
    • Do not place the product on the surface of a bed, wool blanket or similar objects, since these surfaces may impede ventilation.
    • Do not place the product in a bookcase, cupboard or hermetic sealing frame, since these may impede ventilation.

  5.  Do not let a substance or liquid enter the player from any vent.

Power supply

  1. Power supply The product can only use a battery or AC voltage indicated in this manual or marked on the boombox.

  2. AC power cord
    When pulling out the AC power cord, pull from the plug. Do not pull from the power cord.
    Do not touch the AC power supply plug when your hand is wet, it may cause an electric shock.
    The power cord should be placed in a fixed position to avoid twisting or being stepped on. Do not use an AC power socket with thin and elongated electrical wires. A heavy a load for the socket may cause fire or an electrical shock accident.

  3. When the product is not in use for a long time, pull out the AC power supply plug from the power supply socket or take out the battery to avoid the battery liquid leaking out and damaging the components inside the player.
    DANGER
    Invisible laser radiation when opened and interlock is broken. Avoid direct exposure to beam.

CAUTION

  •  The boombox should not be exposed to any liquid, and no objects filled with liquids should be placed on the Boombox.
  • A minimum distance of 10cm around the Boombox should be allowed for sufficient ventilation.
  • The ventilation should not be impeded with items that cover the ventilation openings, such as newspapers, table-cloths, curtains, etc.
  • No open flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the Boombox.
  •  When the main plug or an appliance upler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
  • To completely disconnect from the power input, the main plug of the boombox should be disconnected from the boombox completely.
  •  The main plug of the boombox should not be obstructed or should be easily accessible during intended use.
  • Use caution when using the boombox in tropical climates.
  • Please consider the environment when disposing of batteries.
  • Batteries shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as sunshine, fire or the like.
  • The technical information is located at the bottom of the boombox.
  • Excessive volume from earphones and headphones can cause hearing loss.

Power supply

  1. Battery installation:Push the battery door downward according to the direction shown on the battery door of the product body and open the battery doors. Load in 6 (C/LR14 No.2 size) batteries according to direction shown by the diagram on the battery compartment and properly close the battery door. Replace the batteries in the battery compartment when the broadcast sounds change into noise, when the sound becomes diminished and distorted, or when the CD is incapable of reading a disc.
    Note: Do not mix different types of batteries or use old batteries and new batteries together. Never charge, heat, or break the battery. When taking out a used battery, if the battery is leaking then , the battery should be taken out and the liquid should be thoroughly wiped out.

  2. AC power operation Insert one end of the AC power cord to AC power outlet | and plug the other end into apower outlet. For dual voltage, make sure that the AC voltage selector(located on the bottom battery compartment of the unit) is switched to your local voltage.(optional) (You can only use the provided AC power cord with the player. Using other types of power cords may cause fire or electric shock.)
    ***After the player is connected to the power, switch the power supply switch to “ON” and the power indicator will light up. When the power supply switch is pushed to “OFF”, the indicator light will turn off.

Aux in
This player can be used as amplifier for your audio device. Plug your audio device output Jjack into the Aux in jack, then put the function selection switch(17) to Aux in positionand the player will play out your input audio signal.
ST. PHONE JACK
For private listening, insert a 3.5mm headphone into the headphone jack. The speaker output will be automatically cut off.
CAUTION:LISTENING AT VOLUME POWER FOR A LONG TIME COULD DAMAGE YOUR HEARING.

Operation of each function

Operation of CD function

  1. Slide the function selection switch(17) to the ” BT./CD/USB/SD/AUX ” position.
    Press function button “CD/USB/SD/BT™(3) to enter into CD status

  2. Press the CD door to open, insert the CD disc facing upward,and close the CD door.The player will play the first song and the LCD will display the number of the track.

  3. Adjust the volume with the volume knob to your satisfatory level. Caution: Listening at volume power for a long time can damage hearing.

  4. Press the Play/Pause button to temporarily pause the playback, press again to resume playback.

  5. Press the stop button to stop playback.

  6. During playback, press the Prev button to play the previous song. Press the Next button to play the next song.

  7. During playback, press the repeat button once to repeat the current track, Press the button a second time to repeat the whole disc, Press the button a third time to exit repeat play functon, it will play at random; Press the button a fourth time, it will resume
    normal playback.

  8. During stop status, press the program button to enter program status (The LCD display will flash as picture 1 below)and press Prev or Next button to choose the track. After the track is chosen, press the program button to confirm the selected track By doing this,you can program as many as 20 tracks. Press the play button to play the music in the programmed sequence. To cancel the program status, press the stop button.

Radio operation

  1. Slide the functionselection switch(17) button to Radio
  2. Put the band switch to the band you want to listen to.
  3. Adjust the volume to a satisfactory level with the volume knob
  4. Turn the tuning knob to select the program you like. For better reception of AM station, you may need to adjust the direction of the player.
    For better reception of FM station program, you may need to pull up the rod antenna and adjust the rod antenna location.

BLUETOOTH FUNCTION

  1. Slide the function selection switch(17) to be “BT./CD/USB/SD/AUX” position, press the function button (3) to enter into the Bluetooth mode, “BT” word will be shown on LCD display, and the Bluetooth indicator (11) will be flashing.
  2. Open the set menu of your smart or other Bluetooth devices, go to the Bluetooth sub menu, find the pairing name of “BT-9228UC”, click it to aim to the main unit, you will hear one sound when successfully paired, and the BT indicator will be always on, then you can play the music from your devices on our CD boombox. (notice: during the pairing, if your devices are with lower version, the device prompts you to enter password, just input “0000”.) During the music playback, press the PLAY/PAUSE button to pause playback, resume playback when press it again, you can use PREVIOUS or NEXT button to selection your desired music song; press STOP button to stop the playback.
  3. After paired, press and hold the PLAY button, you can exit the Bluetooth playback, and briefly press twice to the PLAY button to make a phone call back
  4. After paired, when phone call coming, briefly press the PLAY button to answer the phone, briefly press twice to reject the phone call. After you answer the phone, briefly press the PLAY button you can hang up.
  5. After paired, press and hold the STOP button, you can clean the pairing.

USB /SD FUNCTION
After power on, slide the function selection switch(17) to the “BT/CD/USB/SD/AUX” position. Press function button “CD/USB/SD/BT” to enter into USB/SD status, Insert the USB/SD CARD into the USD/SD port, the device will play tracks from USB/SD CARD, the other operation is same as CD operation.
NOTE: USB/SD do not have programming function.

Maintenance

  1. If the player is very dirty, please immerse a soft cloth into clear water or soap water wring it dry and then wipe with it. If you are trying to use chemical cleaning agent, please read the relevant description first. Never use alcohol or banana oil, etc. to clean the housing.
  2. After long-term use. the laser lens of the player may become dirty, causing sound deadlock in playback. Please use the camera lens brush to wipe dust slightly and then blow with the blower. Or use a clean cotton tip rod to dip a little absolute alcohol to wipe the laser lens. Then wipe the lens with a clean cotton tip rod to dry.
  3. When taking the disc by hand, please do not touch the data surface (the silver surface)in order to prevent sound deadlock during playback.
  4. If the disc data surfacc is very dirty, please use a wet soft cloth to wipe it clean, and then wipe it dry. Note: start cleaning from the center and then outward in a linear movement, but do not rotate the disc while wiping.
  5. Do not write on the disc.
