1. What is the actual material of the planters?
Both of their materials are polypropylene(PP). We do apologize for the inconvenience caused to you, they are the fault caused by Amazon system, we supplied the correct information but Amazon judgment system collected the wrong data. The white glossy one has aceramic white color, and the rattan one has a rattan style.

7. Does this system need a wick?
Dexceder self watering pots do not need the wick, the method of wick is an outdated self-watering method. Dexceder self watering flower pots are designed according to the principle of negative pressure irrigation technology, without the water pump used in the conventional pressure system, it can continuously and automatically replenish the water and nutrients needed by plants, so as to achieve the purpose of automatic irrigation.
8. Why is the red one more expensive than the white one?
At first, the cost of a red one is much more expensive than the cost of a white one, which is just the reason why we began to decide to set a high price. Second, we realized that the customer experience wasn't great, so you'll now find us pricing the red and white products for the same. We will retain this policy in non-extraordinary circumstances.
9. Do you have replacement plugs?
At first, we are sorry that there is no replacement bottom plug. Second, if your bottom plug is lost, you can look for something to substitute. The first method is to use plasticine to stuff it in. After a period, the plasticine will harden and block the bottom hole. Of course, it can be pulled out when not in use. The second method is to use cork or rubber to make a bottom plug. Of course, the bottom plug you make should be slightly larger than the bottom hole, because you can't make it evenly.

The self-watering planter has a water level indicator and there is a red pole inside. The pole is a buoy. Insert the water level indicator into the indicator hole according to the instructions. After watering, the buoy will move up.
12. From what I read this pot is not actually self watering until after three months??? Is this correct?
Don't worry about that, the self-watering function will be activated from the beginning. The introduction only emphasizes 'watering the soil surface at least once a week until the buoy moves up'. There are two purposes for this. One is to let the plants' roots and the soil grow together in full harmony. Generally, the roots of the plant will grow well with the soil within 3 months, and the second is to effectively release the fertilizer into the soil.
