Connect the positive (red) battery clamp to the positive (+) battery terminal
-
Connect the negative (black) battery clamp to the negative (-) battery terminal
-
After the positive and negative clips are connected, the LCD screen will light up, battery charger starts to auto-detect the voltage, current and remaining capacity (Note: After the charging ended, the battery needs to be put for an hour and the remaining capacity of the battery will be shown in the below picture)
-
If Positive and negative terminals are Connected incorrectly Or abnormally, the screen reverse connection” icon flashes, displaying Er”
-
Select the suitable charging mode accordingly
-
After charging is ended, the screen battery power bar will display FUL, we recommended that you keep charging for about one to two hours until the screen displays OFF for better battery performance
-
When disconnecting, first disconnect the charger power, and then remove the positive and negative clips, charging is complete
CHARGING TIME REFFRENCE
Low current(1 75 Amp) charging helps to protect batteries during long-time charging process, the larger battery needs longer time to get fully charged
Battery Type(Ah) | Charge Hours(0-100%) |

10 | 6 |
30 | 17 |
50 | 28 |
CHARGING MODE SELECTIONS
NEXPEAK NC175 battery charger has 3 modes: STD, REPAIR and TRICKLE
The STD mode is quick charge type that can output 1 75-amp(Max) current to
fully charge the battery and restore the performance The TgCKLE mode is more
suitable for long time charging and maintaining the battery which changes to
lower output to protect the battery REPAIR mode helps recover the battery’s
health
suitable for all 6V and 12V lead-acid batteries, auto shut-off once fully
charged
suitable for long time charging and maintaining, won’ t shut off and keep
charging the batteries
suitable for battery maintenance, increase or recover the battery health and
activate it
TRICKLE CHARGING MODE
On the basis of standard mode charging, when the voltage of 6V battery is lower than 6 25¥ and 12V battery is lower than 12.5V, it will automatically enter into intelligent charging mode
7- STAGE CHARGING
The battery charger has seven-stage charging during the entire process: desulfurization, trickle charging, constant current charging, constant voltage charging, battery current detection, compensation charging and floating charging The charging process is as below
- Desulfurization
- Tickle charging
- Constant current charging
- Constant voltage charging
- Battery current detection
- Compensation charging
- Floating charging
REPAIR FUNCTION
- After long-term use of the battery, we suggest you to use the repair mode once every 1 to 6 months to keep the battery health status or activate the battery
- Connect the battery and plug in the power, press the MODE” button three times to enter the repair mode, the screen shows putt”, (repair icon) flashing
- Toy car battery is recommended to repair for about 2 hours, motorcycle battery is recommended to repair for about 4 hours. (f the battery does not heat up, you can extend the repair time)
- It has current input into the battery during the repair mode and will charge the battery after a long time repair process. When repair is completed, the screen battery power bar will display FUL, and the charger will automatically enter the float charging stage until the screen shows OFF and shut down, meaning that the repair is completed
- If you need to stop the repair or charging process in advance, disconnect the power supply, directly remove the charger’s clips Note
In the battery repair process, if the battery is overheated, should immediately stop repairing, charging, to avoid danger (the main reason for the heat is the battery sulfide serious or Battery dehydrated, please replace battery asap)

SCREEN DEFINITION
TROUBLE SHOOTING
-
The screen does not display when the charger is connected to the battery
Reason The positive and negative chips are connected incorrectly or the battery is dead
Solution: Check whether the clips are connected reversed, use a battery tester to see whether the battery is dead or not -
Screen will display the voltage but don’t charge the battery Reason: There is no input voltage
Solution: Connect to a 110-220V AC socket -
The battery can’t be charged and is low current, but the screen display
(FUL) indicates fully charged
Reason This is caused by the battery’s vulcanization and inside lack of water, low voltage or leave it unused for a long time The internal resistance of the battery and capacity will reduce greatly, Then it will reach full voltage quickly while charging
Solution: Choose repair mode to reactivate the battery! -
Can’t fully charged after a long time
Reason: battery vulcanization or lack of water, or battery is out of the charger’s capacity
Solution Stop charging. Check whether the battery liquid was leaked if it’sawet battery -
After connecting the power, the positive and negative clips are correctly connected to the battery, the screen lights up, the battery bar appears flashing, and the charger does not charge
Reason: Due to internal damage to the battery, the charger can not detect the battery, please replace the battery
