Product Usage Instructions
Safety Precautions
- FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND/OR IMPROPER USE MAY RESULT IN SCALDING, BODILY INJURIES OR EXPLOSION.
VERY IMPORTANT!
- READ AND UNDERSTAND INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING UNIT.
- Make certain the unit is properly closed before operating.
- Never loosen wing nuts until the steam pressure gauge registers zero and you have allowed any remaining pressure to escape by opening the control valve (toggle in the vertical position).
- Do not open the pressure canner until the unit has cooled and internal pressure has been reduced. The gauge should read zero at this time.
- Never use the pressure canner for medical use.
- Never place oil in or on this pressure canner.
- Always operate the canner on surfaces that will not be damaged by heat.

Installation Guide
It is recommended to install a breaker for the pressure canner circuit as a power disconnecting device.
Operation Guide
- Put the pressure canner on a solid flat surface to ensure proper functioning.
- To open the pressure canner, turn the wing nuts in a counter-clockwise motion to remove the lid. Take out the inner container and rack from inside the canner.
- Add water to the base, making sure to submerge the heating element. Sufficient water should be kept in the base during operation to prevent overheating.
- Place a hot pack and fill jars according to the specific food directions. Set each full jar on the container, ensuring free circulation of steam during heating.
- At the end of the canning process, disconnect the power supply and turn the release valve to the upright (vertical) position to allow steam to escape.
- When the release valve is in the upright position, maximum steam will be discharged. To avoid touching the hot toggle lever, use an object like a wrench or heat pad to move the release valve from the closed position to the open (vertical) position.
- When the pressure gauge shows zero, loosen the wing nuts evenly by turning both opposing wing nuts counterclockwise.
- After removing all wing nuts from the lid slots, lift the lid slightly and turn it counterclockwise for easy removal. The insert can then be taken out from the pressure canner.
FAQ
Q: Can I use the pressure canner for medical purposes?
- A: No, the pressure canner should not be used for medical purposes.
Q: Can I put oil in or on the pressure canner?
- A: No, oil should not be placed in or on the pressure canner.
Q: What should I do if the pressure gauge does not register zero?
- A: If the pressure gauge does not register zero, do not open the pressure canner.
- Wait until the unit has cooled and the internal pressure has been reduced.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
CAUTION
- FAILURE TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS AND/OR IMPROPER USE MAY RESULT IN SCALDING, BODILY INJURIES OR EXPLOSION.
VERY IMPORTANT
- READ AND UNDERSTAND INSTRUCTION MANUAL BEFORE OPERATING UNIT.
- When using the pressure steam Pressure canner, basic safety precautions should always be followed:
- Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles and pot holders.
- Close supervision is necessary when the pressure canner is used near children.
- Extreme caution must be used when moving a pressure canner containing hot liquids.
- Do not use the pressure canner for other than intended use.
- Always check the pressure release devices for clogging before use.
- This pressure canner operates under pressure. Improper use may result in scalding injury.

- Volume refers to the volume inside the pressure canner, including the chambers as well as the volume occupied by the heating elements.
Installation Guide
- The pressure canner must be grounded.
- The power supply of the pressure canner is recommended to be AC 110V ± 10V, ≥ 12A.
- It is recommended to install a breaker for the pressure canner circuit as a power disconnecting device.
Operation Guide
- Put on a solid flat surface
- Make sure the pressure canner is put on a solid flat surface to ensure the instrument working properly.
- Open
- Remove the lid of the pressure canner by turning the wing nuts in a counter-clockwise motion.
- Remove the inner container and rack from inside the pressure canner.
- Add water
- Place the appropriate amount of water in the base. Usually submerge the heating element. Please keep enough water in the base when the canner is working in order not to burn it out.
- CAUTION THE HEATING ELEMENT MUST BE SUBMERGED IN THE WATER.
- Put in
- Hot pack and fill jars according to directions for that food. Set each full jar on the container. Be sure to arrange items so that the free circulation of steam can occur during heating.
- Heating period
- Close the release valve and with the release valve in the closed position, pressure will rise inside the pressure canner and will be indicated on the pressure gauge.
- As the heating continues, the pointer of the pressure gauge will rise and indicate the steam pressure in the pressure canner.
- When the safety valve automatically discharges steam, you need to start the canning timing. When the steam pressure rises to 0.14MPa, the safety valve automatically works to maintain a constant pressure.
- At the end
- When canning is complete, disconnect the power supply and turn the release valve to the upright (vertical) position to allow steam to escape.
- When the release valve is in the upright position, maximum steam will be discharged.
- To avoid touching the hot toggle lever, you can use any object, such as a wrench or heat pad, to move the release valve from the closed position to the open (vertical) position.
- When the gauge shows zero, loosen the wing nuts evenly by turning both opposing wing nuts counterclockwise.
- After all wing nuts have been removed from the lid slots, the lid may be lifted slightly and turned counterclockwise for easy removal.
- The insert can then be removed from the pressure canner.
Maintenance
- Regularly check the sealing effect of the cover to ensure that the reliability of the sealing ring will not partially fall off.
- When not in use for a long time, please keep the sealing ring in water to prevent the sealing ring from suddenly falling off during the next use and causing a pressure relief accident.
- Regularly clean the scale on the instrument and the electric heating element to extend the service life of the electric heating element and the whole pressure canner.
