BAOSHISHAN Electric Flip Down Ceiling TV Mount

Please read this manual carefully before installation and use.

BEFORE YOU BEGIN

If you do not understand these directions, or if you have any doubts about the safety of the installation, please call a qualified technician. Check carefully to make sure there are no missing or defective parts. Improper installation may cause damage or serious injury. Do not use this product for any purpose that is not explicitly specified in this manual. Do not exceed weight capacity. We cannot be liable for damage or injury caused by improper mounting, incorrect assembly or inappropriate use.

CAUTION!

• Need at least two adults to assemble this product.
• Keep children and pets away while assembling up the product.
• Do not use this product if any parts are missing, damaged or worn.
• To avoid scratching the floor and the product, assemble the product on a soft surface, such as a carpet.
• Do not over-tighten the fasteners (hardware).
• Regularly examine the product for wear and tear. Replace at first sign of damage or if parts become detached.
• Never exceed the maximum load capacity of 132 lbs.

ASSEMBLY STEPS

STEP 1:

CHECK THE CONDITION OF THE MACHINE

1. Check whether the indicator light of the remote control is on;
2. After power on, check whether the indicator light on the machine is on; whether the motor can run;
3. Check whether the external parts of the machine are loose or missing.

*Generally we have matched the remote control and the machine before leaving the factory, if mount does not respond, please check page 14 and re-match the remote control and the machine according to the operation.

OPTION A: Concert Ceiling

WARNING

• When installing the TV mount to cinder block, verify that you have a minimum of 1-3/1 0″ of actual solid concrete thickness in the hole to be used for the concrete anchors. Do not drill into mortar joints! Be sure to mount in a solid part: of the block, generally 1″ minimum from the side of the block. Cinder block must meet ASTM C-90 specifications. It is recommended that a standard electric drill set on a slow setting is used to drill the hole instead of a hammer drill to avoid breaking out the back of the hole when entering a void or cavity.
• Concrete must have a 2000 psi density minimum. Lighter density concrete may not hold the concrete anchor.
• THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hard-ware and components. ( the TV mount weighs 55Ibs [25kg] )
• Always attach concrete anchors directly to load-bearing concrete. Never attach concrete anchors to concrete covered with plaster, drywall, or other finishing material. If mounting to concrete surfaces covered with a finishing surface is unavoidable, the finishing surface must be counterbored. Be sure concrete anchors do not pull away from concrete when tightening screws.

NOTE: The installer needs to choose the right anchor according to the actual condition of the user’s ceiling.

We recommend the use of M10-M12 size Hex Head Sleeve Anchor (cp10mm-cp12mm). Please consult a professional installer for the specific anchor type based on the qualities of your ceiling.

STEP 3:

INSTALLING THE MOUNT

OPTION B: Wood Ceiling/Joist (not plasterboard)

WARNING

• Make sure that mounting screws are anchored into the center of the joist. The use of an “edge to edge” stud finder is highly recommended.
• THE MOST IMPORTANT!!! Make sure that the supporting surface will safely support the combined load of the equipment and all attached hard-ware and components. ( the TV mount weighs 55Ibs [25kg] )
  

NOTE: The installer needs to choose the right anchor according to the actual condition of the user’s ceiling / joist.

We recommend the use of M 10-M 12 size Hexagon Head Lag Wood Screws with Anchor (cp10mm-cp12mm).

Please consult a professional installer for the specific anchor type based on the qualities of your ceiling.

4. Tighten the screws

STEP 4:

SUPPORT RODS MOUNTING AND SCREEN ADJUSTMENT

a. Fix the support rods (BB+CC) first with the screws + nuts (GG+HH) , without tightening.
b. Adjust the position of the Horizontal rods (CC) according to the VESA (wall mounting hole) of your TV, and then fix the Horizontal rods (CC) to the TV with the Wall Mount Screws (not proviede ), then tighten the GG+HH.

NOTE: We did not provide the screws for mounting the TV on the rods. (Due to the different specifications of screws for each brand of TV.) Generally, TVs come with their own wall mount screws in the package.

STEP 5:

TURN ON THE POWER, PUT THE BACKPLANE DOWN, 90° IS BEST

Dual mode control (remote or wire control)

1. Connect the wire control switch to the connector on the machine and press the switch to expand the machine.
2. Use the remote control to expand the machine. If the remote control does not work, refer to Page 13 for troubleshooting.
   

STEP 6:

MOUNTING THE TV

Measure the necessary parameter’s and load the TV set as follows. In
tis step, it is strongly recommended that two people cooperate to avid unnecessary security accidents.

Use the screws (GG) we provide to secure the Vertical rods (BB) to the hanger backplate .

NOTE: Clearance between the ceiling and top edge of TV should be no less than 15mm when TV is in the fully lowered position. Please adjust the clearance according to your actual installation, so that the TV will not be damaged in the folding over because of the lack of reserved space.

SET REMOTE CONTROL

Usually we have matched the remote control with the machine before leaving the factory, if the machine does not work when you are using the remote control, please check:

1. Whether the machine works under wire-control:
   A: Working, the machine is intact, the remote control is faulty.
   B: Not working, the machine is damaged, please contact after-sales support.

2. Whether the indicator light of the remote control is on:
   A: The light is not on, the remote control is damaged or no battery (please check the battery condition)
   B: The light is on, the remote control is not matched with the machine successfully (please follow the following method to match again)
   

1. Remote control matching:
   Press and hold the ‘Function Button’ on the machine for 6 seconds, release it after seeing the ‘Indicator Light’ flash slowly. Use the tip of a pen or other tools to press and hold the ‘E Key’ on the back of the remote control for 2 seconds. When the ‘Indicator Light’ on the machine stops flashing, it means that the code is successfully matched. Otherwise, please try to repeat the above operation.

2. Set memory position:
   a. Press the ‘E Key’ on the remote control until the machine emits a continuous beep and release it.
   b. Press the UP to run the machine to the desired position, then press the STOP, and then press the ‘E Key’ to save the positioning.
   c. In the same way, press the DOWN to run the machine to the desired position, then press the STOP, and then press the ‘E Key’ to save the positioning.
   d. After the machine can automatically complete a journey, it indicates that the positioning is successful.
