INTRODUCTION
Our chillers are mainly divided into compressor refrigeration and electronic refrigeration, both of which are highly efficient cooling methods with it’s own advantage. At the same time, both use microcomputer control systems that can accurately control and display the actual water temperature in the fish tank.
Our aquarium chillers are widely used in aquariums and hydroponics to provide
a high-quality, cool and comfortable living environment for your axolotl,
fish, coral reef and crystal shrimps. This chillers can effectively control
the water temperature between 74-80F, which is the most comfortable
temperature for various aquatic creatures.
As for hydroponics, water chillers can keep the needed nutrient solution in
the ideal temperature range which makes it’s vital to successful hydroponic
grows. Our aquarium chillers make it easy to maintain the perfect temperature
in your hydroponic system, which will help to ensure a fruitful and healthy
harvest for you!

Caution
For 160L and 300L chillers, please note:
- In order to avoid the impact of shaking during transportation on the compressor inside the chiller, please let the chiller stand for 24 hours before using it after receiving the goods.
- Itis normal for the compressor inside the machine to shake slightly. Please do not shake the chiller itself.
- The compressor will start three minutes after the temperature setting is completed, please wait patiently.
For 50L chiller, please note:
Temperature probe must be placed in the water to ensure the chiller can detect and cool the water normally.
Dangerous
- Please be sure to unplug the electrical equipment used in the fish tank before putting your hands into the water while installing.
- Please unplug the power cord when lightning strikes.
- Do not use wet hands to plug or unplug the power cord, otherwise it will cause electric shock or injury.
- Please use the power socket separately, do not share the same socket with other high-power electrical appliances at the same time, so as to avoid excessive current and cause fire.
- When not in use for a long time, please unplug the power plug to prevent short circuit and spontaneous combustion caused by device aging, etc.
- The socket should be placed higher than the fish tank, and pay attention to s avoid letting water flow to the socket along the power cord. The plug and socket should not be soaked by water during use.
- hen in use, the plug must be inserted into the bottom of the socket and kept firmly, otherwise it will cause the component to overheat and burn out due to poor contact, leading to dangerous accidents such as short circuit or fire.
- Do not allow children to operate the chiller alone to avoid electric shock or injury.
Warning
- Do not place the chiller in the position of high temperature, no ventilation, direct sunlight, large lampblack and moisture.
- Do not block air vents or put objects near them.
- Do not insert metal shavings, iron wires, needles and other foreign objects into the chiller.
- Do not disassemble the chiller by yourself.
Pay attention to
- Do not turn the chiller upside down while using.
- You must hold the handle of the plug and do not pull the power cord when unplugging the plug, otherwise the power cord may be easily damaged.

INSTALLATION & TESTING
Water Pipe Installation
For 160/300L chiller,
-
Install the output and input attachment pieces, there is no distinction, choose freely.
-
Install the fixing nut, water pipe joint, flat sealing ring on the pipe joint, make sure they are tight.
-
Cut the 3m water pipe into two sections according to the length you need, use two hose clamps to tighten.
For 50L chiller,
- There is no distinction between water inlet and outlet.
- Provide a 2m pipe, you can cut it into two pieces, connect them to water inlet and water outlet on the back of the chiller as you like. Buy a long pipe if needed.
Note for 50L chiller: Temperature probe must be placed in the water to ensure the chiller can detect and cool the water normally.
Testing
Please test the chiller carefully before installation.
- Put the pump in the tub or a good size pan, put the output back in the tub or pan.
- Power up the unit and check for leaks. Let it run and make sure it cools properly.
- Once the chiller has no leaks and everything works, install it where you need it.
- Note that the “cool” is displaying during operation (the “cool” is notdisplayed in standby mode), and the chiller will starts to work after setting about 3 minutes.
Try the following methods if leakage:
- Check if the flat gasket sealing ring is put at the right place.
- Try to add some vacuum grease to the water pipe connection.
- Contact us if still have water leakage problem after trying.
Chiller & Pump Installation
For 160/300L chiller,
For 50L chiller,
- Water inlet and outlet are on the back of the chiller, no distinctions between them.
- Temperature probe must be placed in the water.
TEMP SETTING & CORRECTION
Temperature Setting
For example, we need to set temperature range between 75-79F:
-
Set target temperature
Press the SET key, adjust to 75, and then press RST key to return. -
Set temperature difference
Long press the SET key until the F1 code appears, and then press the SET, press up or down to adjust to 4. So, the chiller will start to running at 79F and stop running at 75F.
Temperature Correction
Long press the SET key until the F1 code appears, and then press the to enter in F2 code (temperature correction function), the default is O. If there is an error between the displayed temperature and the actual water temperature, first confirm the error value.
Example:
- Aquarium water temperature is 85F, the display shows 83F
Actual error: 85-83 =2
Operation method: Enter the code F2, press the set key, and then press the
“ ’ key to adjust to 2 degrees.
Aquarium water temperature is 83F, display shows 85F
Actual error: 83-85 = -2
