Product Usage Instructions

Care and Maintenance of Your Fridge Slide

  • Always keep the running surfaces of your fridge slide free from sand, grit, etc, simply by wiping with a soft cloth or similar.
  • Periodically check the running surfaces of the bearings to ensure that they are running smoothly and not dragging.

Adjustable Bearings
In the unlikely event that your fridge slide sets up a rattle or vibration, follow these steps:

  1. Make sure the Hex head bolts are tensioned enough to hold firmly.
  2. Using a Hex Key 5mm and a 13mm spanner, adjust the adjustable bearings by turning them with the Hex Key until they are running smoothly.

Anti Vibration Wedges
Your fridge slide has 2 anti-vibration wedges located at the top rear of the slide. Follow these steps to adjust them:

  1. Open the slide approximately 200mm to expose the 2 wedges (Black).
  2. Using a Hex Key 5mm, loosen the wedges a little and move them closer to the rear of the fridge slide.
  3. When the fridge slide is closed, the wedges will enter the retainer a little more, thus eliminating any vibration.
  4. NOTE: The adjustment is very minimal.

Mounting Your Fridge Slide
The fridge slide has 6 mounting points, but we recommend using at least 4 mounting points. Follow these steps for proper mounting:

  • When mounting your fridge slide on a false floor, ensure that the material is adequate. If using particle board or similar, use large washers (mudguard washers) to help spread the load and support the weight when the slide is fully extended.
  • Always allow at least 50mm for ventilation around your fridge.

Mounting Fridge Freezer to Slide
There are 2 methods of attaching your fridge freezer to the slide:

Semi-Permanent Mounting

  1. Remove 8 screws from the handles of your Fridge Freezer. Mount the Tie Down Brackets in front of the handle and replace with the 8 longer screws supplied.
  2. NOTE: The Tie Down Brackets are designed to be used in conjunction with the Transit Bag.
  3. Select the correct length Turn Buckle Hooks supplied for your Fridge Freezer.
  4. Install 4 Turn Buckles to Tie Down Brackets and Slide Base. DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN.
  5. NOTE: The MR 40 (Eclipse Model) uses a different method for semi-permanent mounting and is not supplied with your Fridge Slide. It can be purchased separately. Part No ECLKIT.

Permanent Mounting

  1. Remove the tray from the base of your Fridge Slide by removing the 4 plastic caps using a flat blade screwdriver.
  2. Remove the 4 Top Bearings with a Hex Key 5mm and a 13mm spanner, noting the washer’s position and the bolt head facing in.
  3. The tray will then lift off.
  4. Remove the 4 bolts retaining the feet on your Fridge Freezer using a Phillips head screwdriver.
