Product description

This product is a hydraulic crimping tool, including a wire cutter, suitable for crimping electrical connectors with AWG12-2/0 (4-70mm ) wire sizes. It adopts a C-type crimping head design with 9 interchangeable jaws, it can contact and press steadily with small resistance and high work efficiency, safe and reliable, and easy to operate.

4.2 The cutting pliers are mainly composed of the following parts:

User Guide

  1. When pressing cables, select cable of the required size and the corresponding contact mould install terminals in the middle of the contact moulds.

  3. Close the oil valve tightly and turn the movable handle to enabled plunger pump to start up.
  4. While the hydraulic pressure is increasing, the pistons will push the contact mould forward until two contact moulds meet.
  5. Do not continue to exert pressure after the two contact mould meet to avoid damages to the components.
  6. During the crimping process, please ensure that the connector is in the center of the pliers and continue to apply pressure until the crimping cycle is completed.
  7. lf there is a pressure relief valve, when the specified pressures is reached, you will hear a slight hissing sound indicating an automatic release of internal pressure and the work has been finished.
  8. Loosen the oil valve, and the piston will retract automatically.
  9. After the crimping is completed, release the pressure and take out the crimped connector.
  10. lt is normal to see a slight trace of oil appearing on the outside of the plunger and the big piston after repeat the operation as mentioned above.

Cleaning and maintenance:

  1. This product has tightly fitted components. Do not dismantle the components. Avoid knocking the tool and keep it away from moisture.
  2. After repeated use of this tool for some time, check the quantity of oil in the reservoir inside the hand tool.Use#20 oil for refill. Refilled oils shall be cleared of dust and grit.
  3. Unload the fixed handle, pull out the rear oil plug from the oil reservoir and add #20 mechanical oil filtered through 200- filter screen until oil overflows. Loosen the oil valve, turn the movable handle slowly for several times to release trapped air in the oil reservoir. Replace the oil plug and screw down the fixes handle
