This user manual is to help you use this product. These instructions will
allow you to learn about your new product as quickly as possible.

This appliance is intended for use in households and similar situations such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, offices, and other work environments
- farmhouses
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type environments
- bed and breakfast type environments
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
Before using the electrical appliance always follow these basic precautions:

Do not immerse the appliance or mains lead in water or other liquids.

This appliance can be used by children aged 8 and above if they are supervised, or have been given instruction regarding the safe use of the appliance, and understand the
hazards involved.
Children must not clean or maintain the appliance unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its mains lead out of the reach of children aged under 8 years old.
This appliance can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or a lack of knowledge and experience, if they are supervised, or have been given
instruction regarding the safe use of the appliance and understand the hazards involved. Children must not play with the appliance. -
If the mains lead is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified personnel in order to avoid safety hazards.

Before using the appliance, check that the main voltage corresponds to the rating plate on the coffee maker.

The appliance must be earthed.

Close supervision is necessary when your appliance is being used near children.

To prevent damage, do not place the coffee maker on a hot surface or beside a fire.

Unplug the appliance from the mains before cleaning and when not in use. Allow the appliance to cool down completely before removing or attaching components, or before cleaning.

Do not operate the appliance if its mains lead or plug are damaged, if it malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any other way. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair, or electrical or mechanical adjustment.

The use of accessories not recommended by the manufacturer may cause injury or damage to the appliance.

Position the appliance on a flat surface or table. Do not hang its mains lead over the edge of the table or counter.

Ensure that the main lead does not touch hot surfaces on the appliance.

Some parts of the appliance are hot when it is in operation. Do not touch these directly.

Never leave an empty carafe on the warming plate, it is liable to crack otherwise.

Do not use outdoors.

This appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capacity, or a lack of knowledge and experience unless they are
supervised, or have been given instruction regarding the safe use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance. -
Warning : Misuse may cause injury.

FOR HOUSEHOLD USE ONLY
BEFORE FIRST USE
To ensure that the first cup of coffee tastes excellent, flush the coffee maker with hot water as follows:
- Pour 1500 ml water into the water reservoir.
- Insert the nylon filter into the funnel (do not add coffee grounds). Cover with the water reservoir lid.
- Place the carafe on the warming plate.
- Connect to the power supply. “:” will be displayed.
- Press any key, and 12:00 will be displayed.
- Press the ON/OFF button once, the red indicator will illuminate. After a little while water will automatically start dripping out.
- When no more water drips out, press the ON/OFF button to turn off the brewing cycle. Pour out the hot water and clean thoroughly. You can now start brewing coffee.
MAKING DRIP COFFEE

Open the water reservoir lid. Fill with drinking water to the mark on the reservoir.

Add ground coffee into the nylon filter using the measuring spoon. A spoonful of ground coffee will make a cup of top-grade coffee. However, you can adjust the amount yourself according to taste.

Insert the nylon mesh into the funnel.

Cover the water reservoir with its lid.
Connect the appliance to the power supply, 12:00 will be displayed. -
Place the carafe onto the warming plate.
Ensure that the center of the carafe is aligned with that of the funnel. -
Press any button, and 12:00 will be displayed.
Select the intensity of aroma by choosing “one”, “two”, or “three” coffee beans when pressing the “Mode” button. Press the ON/OFF button once, the red indicator will illuminate. After a little while coffee will automatically start dripping out.
Note : You can remove the carafe to serve at any time, but for no longer than 30 seconds to prevent coffee from overflowing. -
To turn off the coffee maker, press the ON/OFF button until neither a red nor a white dot is displayed; this puts the coffee maker in standby mode.
SETTING THE CLOCK AND PROGRAMMING AUTOMATIC START (only for making drip
coffee)
- Press the PROG button to set the current time and timer start.
- When CLOCK is displayed, press the HOUR button and MIN button to set the current time to between 0:00 and 23:59.
- When TIMER is displayed, press the HOUR button and MIN button to set the automatic timer to between 0:00 and 23:59.
- Select the intensity of the aroma by choosing “one”, “two”, or “three” coffee beans when pressing the “Mode” button.
- Press ON/OFF twice, and the white dot in the display comes on, indicating that the automatic start is activated. When the time set for brewing is reached and brewing starts, the white dot will go off and the red dot will come on. The appliance will start making coffee when the set start time has been reached.
- To turn off the coffee maker, press the ON/OFF button until neither a red nor a white dot is displayed; this puts the coffee maker in standby mode.
WARNING : Do not leave the coffee maker unattended when it is making coffee. You may need to operate it manually!
CLEANING AND CARE
- Disconnect the appliance at the mains and allow it to cool down completely before cleaning.
- Clean the coffee maker casing regularly using a dry cloth. Clean the water reservoir, drip lid, funnel, filter screen, and carafe regularly and dry them.
Note : Do not clean using alcohol or solvents. Never immerse the casing in water to clean it.
REMOVING MINERAL DEPOSITS
In order for the coffee maker to function optimally, mineral deposits must be
removed regularly depending on the hardness of the water in your area and how
often you use
the appliance, or every three months. Do this as follows: Fill the carafe with
one part white vinegar and three parts cold water. Pour the water and vinegar
solution into the reservoir.
Do not add coffee grounds. Start the brewing cycle using the water-vinegar
solution as in “Before first use”. If necessary repeat until no yellow liquid
comes out. Pour out the solution.
Run brewing cycles using tap water until there is no vinegar odor left.
TROUBLESHOOTING

The coffee maker stops working.| The coffee maker overheats causing its
automatic safety system to trip.| The coffee maker should work after it has
rested for 30 seconds. Otherwise, contact an authorized service center.
The temperature of the coffee is low.| Not enough water.| Fill with the
correct amount of water
If you cannot find the cause of the fault do not take the appliance apart yourself. Contact an authorized service center.
