Product Usage Instructions

Download App and Register

1. Download the “Smart Life” app from your app store.
2. Register a new account using the app.

How does APP connect with smart gateway device fast?

1. Open the “Smart Life” app and click “Add Device”.
2. Select “Gateway Control” and then “Gateway Zigbee”.
3. Reset the gateway device by pressing the reset button until the green indicator light is continuously on.
4. Confirm the two green lights are on and click “Next”. Make sure your cellphone and gateway are on the same network.
5. Once the device is added successfully, click “Done”.

How to connect the smart gateway to the switch?

1. Ensure the switch is powered on. Press any switch button for 10 seconds until the Wi-Fi red light flashes rapidly.
2. After the smart gateway is connected to the app, click “Add subdevice” and then click “LED already blink”.
3. The device will connect automatically. Click “Done” to complete the connection.

How do I add family members?
To add family members

1. Click on “Me” in the bottom right corner of the app.
2. Click on “Home Management” and select the name of the family you have created.
3. Click on “Into my family” and then click on “Add Member”.
4. Enter the name and account number of the member.
5. Members can be set as administrators. Click “Save” to add the member successfully.

Note
The Zigbee Gateway can only be connected to one account and can be co- managed by adding more than one family member.

FAQ

• Q: Can I use this switch with a 2-way circuit?
  A: No, this switch is only compatible with one-way/single pole circuits.

• Q: Do I need a Neutral wire for this switch to work?
  A: This switch can work with or without a Neutral wire.

• Q: Can I reset the smart switch to factory defaults?
  A: Yes, you can reset the smart switch by long-pressing any button for 10 seconds. However, please note that this will erase all your settings.

Notes Before Installation

1. ZigBee frequency : 2.4GHz.
   ZigBee standard:IEEE 802.15.4.

2. Only support one way/single pole circuit, not compatible with 2-way.

3. With Neutral wire or without Neutral wire.

4. This product has no relay function.

5. Basic electrical wiring knowledge or experience is required , or please consult to a profesional electrician.

6. ON/OFF button also can be used as reset button. Long press any key for 10 seconds to reset your smart switch to factory defaults only do this if you are sure you want to erase all your setings.

1. How to download App? Scan the QR code below or search for “Smart Life” in the IOS APP store or Google play.

2. Setting Smart Life APP, How to Register and Login?
   Download or Scan the QR Code and install Smart Life App. Once download or Scan the QR Code, register your account.

3. Enter your phone number or email which you prefer and select the country you live in.
   Obtain verification code. Enter verification code. Set Password.

4. Create “Family”
   Enter the family name and select the room. Family created sucessfully.

How does APP connect with smart gateway device fast ?

1. Open the appliction , click “Add Device” , click “ Gateway Control ” , then click “ Gateway Zigbee ”.
2. Please reset gateway device , press the reset button for a long time until the indicator light ( green light ) is on continuously .
3. First click “ confirm the two green lights are on ”, then Click “Next ”, make sure the cellphone and gateway in the same network , so APP could connect with the gateway device .
4. Device added successfully , click “ Done ”.

4. Attention : Zigbee Gateway can only be connected to one account , then , co – manage by adding more than one family member .

The application that adds a member will pop up a window → Whether or not to accept the invitation → Click accept the invitation → Back to main page “ My home ”→ Click on the top left corner to switch to the main family name .
