JRready DT Family Comparison

DTM Series
The DTM Series connectors is built for use with lower amperages. They work with size 20 contacts, which are 16-22AWG wires, and offer 7.5A(MAX) current capacity. A great way to remember these is that the “M” in DTM means “mini”. The mini connectors handle lower amperages.
DT Series
The DT Series connectors is designed for use with size 16 contacts, which are 20-14 AWG wires, and offer 13A(MAX) current capacity.
These are the most commonly used line in the DT series of environmentally sealed connectors. Their durable housing is built to handle the toughest environmental conditions making them a solid choice for a range of applications.
DTP Series
Building on both the DT and DTM design strengths, the DTP connector line was developed to fill the need for higher amperage, multi-pin, inexpensive connectors. The series meets the same specifications as the DTM and DT but offers  the designer the ability to use multiple 12 gauge contacts, each with a 25A(MAX) current capacity.
