The FineIn Tag is a device that helps you track and locate your belongings. It connects to your smartphone using the Find MyTM network and provides real-time location updates.

Product Usage Instructions
- Turning On the FineIn Tag
- To turn on the FineIn Tag, press the Function Button once. It should beep once to indicate that it is powered on.
- Pairing the FineIn Tag
- Once your FineIn Tag is turned on, open the Find MyTM app on your smartphone. Tap on “Connect” when your FineIn Tag is located.
- Playing Sound on the FineIn Tag
- To make your FineIn Tag beep, tap on your FineIn Tag from the list in the Find MyTM app and then tap “Play Sound”. This will help you locate your FineIn Tag if it’s nearby.
- Locating Your FineIn Tag
- Your FineIn Tag’s location will appear on the map with a time stamp of when it was last located. To navigate to the FineIn Tag’s location, tap “Directions” to open Apple Maps.
- Notifications
- You will receive a notification when you leave your FineIn Tag behind and it’s no longer in range of your device. You will also receive a notification when your FineIn Tag is seen by another Find MyTM network device.

- How long does the battery last?
- The FineIn Tag has a battery life of up to 1 year.
- What should I do if I lose my FineIn Tag?
- If you lose your FineIn Tag, tap on it from the list in the Find MyTM app and follow the instructions to locate it. If you’re unable to find it, you can reset the FineIn Tag and pair it to a new Apple ID.
- Is the FineIn Tag waterproof?
- Yes, the FineIn Tag is water-resistant with an IP67 rating.
- Can I use the FineIn Tag with Android devices?
- No, the FineIn Tag is only compatible with Apple devices.
Getting Started
Power On / Off:
- Press the Fineln Tag Function Button once to turn it on.It should beep once to indicate that it ispowered on
- To power off, hold the same button for at least three seconds. You will hear two beeps to indicate that your Fineln Tag is powered off.
Check For Updates:
- To use the Find My app to locate this Finen Tag, the latest version of ios®, iPados®, or macos® is recommended. The Find Items app on Apple Watch® requires the latest version of watchOS®.
Add Your Fineln Tag
Start The App
- Open Find My™ app on your supported iPhone or iPad.
Connect Your Fineln Tag
- Press the function button once to power on your FineIn Tag
- Tap+, then “Add Other Item”
- Once your FineIn Tag is located, tap “Connect”.
- Enter a name and choose an emoji for you and tap”Continue”.
- Find My™ will ask for confirmation to add your FineIn Tag to your Apple ID Tap “Agree”.
- Tap “Finish” and your FineIn Tag will be set up and ready to be used.
Locate Your FineIn Tag
Find Finen Tag When It’s Nearby:
- Open the Find My™™ app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap on your FineIn Tag from the list
- Tap “Play Sound” to make your FineIn Tag beep.
- Tap “Stop Sound” to stop the beeps once you find them.
Find FineIn Tag’s Location:
- Open the Find My app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap on your FineIn Tag from the list
- Your FineIn Tag’s location will appear on the map with a time stamp of when the item was located
- To navigate to the FineIn Tag’s location, tap ” Directions” to open Apple Maps.
Notifications
Enabling”Notify When Left Behind”:
- Open the Find My™ app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap on your Finen Tag from the list.
- Under “Notifications” enable the “Notify When Left Behind” toggle.
- You will receive a notification when you leave your Fineln Tag behind and it’s no longer in range of your device.
Enabling” Notify When Found”:
- Under “Notifications”, enable the “Notify When Found” toggle.
- When your Fineln Tag is seen by another Find My networkdevice, you will receive a notification of its location.
- Note: “Notify When Found”can only be activated when your Fineln Tag is out of range.
When Your Fineln Tag Lost
Enabling” Lost Mode”:
- Open the Find My™ app and select the “Items” tab or open the Find Items app on your Apple Watch.
- Tap on your Fineln Tag from the list.
- Under “Lost Mode” tap “Enable”.
- A screen detailing Lost Mode will pop up, tap “Continue”.
- Enter your phone number or email address and tap “Next”.
- You may enter a message that will be shared with the person that finds your item.
- Tap “Activate” to enable “Lost Mode”
- Note: When “Lost Mode” is enabled, “Notify When Found” is automatically enabled.
- Note: When”Lost Mode” is enabled your Fineln Tag is locked and cannot be paired to a new device.
Reset Fineln Tag
Remove The Fineln Tag From Find My™App:
- Open Find My™ app and select the “Items” tab.
- Tap on your Fineln Tag from the list.
- Please ensure”Lost Mode” is disabled.
- Scroll to the bottom of the screen and tap “Remove Item.”
- A summary will open, tap “Remove” to confirm.
Factory Reset Your FineIn Tag:
- After successfully removing the Fineln Tag from the Find My TM app, press the iTag’s function button four times rapidly and then hold it a fifth time until you hear a ringing chime.
- The FineIn Tag is now reset and ready to be paired to a new Apple ID.
Extras
Replace The Battery:
- Slide the opening slider on the back of your FineIn Tag to carefully open the shells.
- Replace the battery with a new CR2016 battery placing it positive side up (text facing up).
- Carefully close the iTag by aligning the top hole on both sides.
Unwanted tracking:
- If any Find My Network accessory separated from its owner is seen moving with you over time, you’ll be notified in one of two ways: to your Apple devices feature is available on or i do 145 verification
- If you don’t have an iOS device or a smartphone, a Find My network accessory that hasn’t been with its owner for some time will emit a sound when it’s moved.
- These features were created specifically to discourage people from trying to track you without your knowledge.
