Search for “Tuya Smart” App on Google Play or Apple App Store to download the app

Pair the device with the phone

Turn on Bluetooth on your phone before pairing the device with the phone, the “SmartTuya” application allows adding in an account Multiple devices.

  1. Click the “Add Device” or”+” button In the application

  2. Select “Auto Discovery”,

  3. Move the device close to the phone, press and hold the SOS button until the device’s red and green lights flash alternately.
    The application will automatically detect the device, click “Next” to complete the pairing.

  4. Click “Next” to complete the pairing

  5. After the connection is successful, disconnect the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, the device will sound a drop-out alarm; therefore, if you do not use the device for a period of time,
    please remove the device from the APP; otherwise, directly turn off the Bluetooth of the mobile phone, and the device will continue Sound an alarm.

Function

  1. Distribution network
    Press and hold the sos button for ss to enter the network configuration state, the red and
    green lights flash alternately; if the network has been configured before, remove the device and restart Network distribution, the timeout period is 60 seconds.

  2. SOS button
    Double-click the alarm, the default silent alarm, you can configure the alarm mode on the APP, divided into silent alarm, sound alarm, Flashing light alarm and sound and light alarm.

Precautions

  1. Support Tuya Smart and Smart Life APP (hereinafter referred to as APP);
  2.  The APP needs to be kept alive at the mobile phone system level, allowing positioning permissions and allowing self-starting permissions;
  3. The SMS and phone push functions need to be purchased in the APP, and the phone number of the emergency contact can be set;
  4. Be careful not to actively kill the APP, otherwise it will cause the device to disconnect from the mobile phone and fail to report data;
  5. The mobile phone positioning needs to be turned on so that the APP can obtain the current positioning information of the mobile phone when the device alarms;
  6. The device has a low battery reminder function, and pay attention to charging the device in time after low battery;
  7.  The device and the mobile phone are connected via Bluetooth, and the outdoor distance is about30-50 meters. Exceeding it will cause disconnection and failure.
