WARNING: Disconnect power at the main fuse box
before installation.

WARNING: This fixture is intended for installation by the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended.

  1. Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.
  2. Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so that they are easily accessible to connect fixture wires.
  3. Place the mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. The screw collar loop (E) should be pointing down towards the floor. Align each slot in the mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.
  4. Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into the holes in the junction box. Tighten the junction box screws (B) to secure the mounting bracket (A) to the junction box. Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.
  5. Rotate arms until they are evenly spaced apart.
  6. Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of the center column (P). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the center column (P) and pull them taut. Thread the bottom of the centre column (P) onto the top of the fixture body (O).
  7. Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture and choose the number of stems (M/N) to achieve that height.
  8. Carefully push fixture wires through the stems (M/N) and screw the stems together, keeping the fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixture wires between stems.
  9. Push fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (H) and thread the loop (H) onto the top of the last stem.
  10. Slip fixture wires through the hole in the threaded ring (F).
  11. Position the canopy (D) so that the outside of the canopy is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip fixture wires through the hole in the canopy (D).
  12. Strip 3/4 of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.
  13. Carefully push fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to the mounting bracket (A) and out of the end of the threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.
  14. To aid in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect a second locking link (G) to the loop (H) on top of the last stem and to the screw collar loop (W).
  15. Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap the house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and end of the house ground wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.
  16. Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it. Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and the end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist the wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires and completely tighten it.

Installation Instructions

  1. Carefully pull house wires down out of the junction box so house wires are easily accessed to connect fixture wires.

  2. If the screw collar loop (W) is already attached to the mounting bracket (A), proceed to Step 3. To assemble screw collar loop (W) to mounting bracket (A): Hold mounting bracket (A) so the head of the ground screw is pointing down towards the floor. Hold threaded pipe so two hex nuts already attached to threaded pipe (E) are pointing down towards the floor. From the side of the mounting bracket with the ground screw head, screw the short end of the threaded pipe (E) into the hole in the centre of the mounting bracket (A) until the hex nut on threaded pipe (E) touches the mounting bracket. Thread hex nut (V) onto the end of the threaded pipe (E). Tighten hex nut (V) to secure threaded pipe (E) to mounting bracket (A). Thread screw collar loop (W) onto the end of threaded pipe pointing down towards the floor. Tighten the screw collar loop up against the hex nut on the threaded pipe (E).

  3. Place mounting bracket (A) up against the junction box. Screw collar loop (E) should be pointing down towards the floor. Align each slot in mounting bracket (A) with each hole in the junction box.

  4. Thread one junction box screw (B) into each slot in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
CAUTION: Make sure house wires are still easily accessible. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

  5. Rotate arms until arms are evenly spaced apart.

  6. Carefully push fixture wires up through the bottom of the centre column (P). Pull fixture wires out of the top of the centre column (P). Pull fixture wires taut. Thread the bottom of the centre column (P) onto the top of the fixture body (O).

  7. Determine the desired hanging height of the fixture. Choose the number of stem (M/N) to achieve that height.

  8. Carefully push fixture wires through stems (M/N). Screw stems (M/N) together keeping fixture wires taut. DO NOT pinch fixture wires between stems.

  9. Push fixture wires up through the bottom of the loop (H). Thread loop (H) onto the top of the last stem.

  10. Slip fixture wires through the hole in the threaded ring (F).

  11. Position canopy (D) so the outside of the canopy is pointing down towards the fixture. Slip fixture wires through the hole in the canopy (D).

  12. Strip 3/4” of insulation from the ends of fixture wires.

  13. Carefully push fixture wires up through the hole in the screw collar loop (W) attached to mounting bracket (A) and out end of threaded pipe inside the junction box. Carefully pull fixture wires so they are easily accessible to connect to house wires.

  14. To aid in connecting fixture wires to house wires, temporarily connect the second locking link (G) to loop (H) on top of the last stem and to the screw collar loop (W).

  15. Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to the fixture ground wire. Twist the end of the fixture ground wire and the end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.
Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:

    Bare Copper Wire or,
    Bare Silver Wire or,
    Green Insulated Wire.

  16. Twist the end of the house lead wire (black) and the end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist the end of the house neutral wire (white) and end of the fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.

  17. Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.

  18. Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into a junction box.
Connect Black Lead Supply (House) Wire to:| Connect White Neutral Supply (House) Wire to:
