Product Usage Instructions

Safety Precautions
To reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or personal injury, please follow these safety precautions:

  1. We suggest installation by a licensed electrician.
  2. Read the instruction carefully and save it for future reference.
  3. Before starting any work, always shut off the electricity.
  4. The mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough, and 1/4 larger than the canopy on all sides.
  5. Ensure that the ceiling or wall can support the weight of the lamp before installation.
  6. Make sure to use a voltage of 120V.
  7. Avoid exposing the lamp to acidic and alkaline substances.
  8. When replacing bulbs, turn off or unplug the lamp and wait until it cools down.
  9. Use common sense, caution, and care with any electrical products.

Assembly & Installation Instructions
Follow these steps to assemble and install the product:

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included.
  2. Turn off the power before starting the installation.
  3. Remove the mounting plate assembly (A).
  4. Secure the mounting plate assembly (A) to the outlet box with the mounting screws (D). Make sure the side marked GND faces out.
  5. Press down and hold the lock nut (F) by hand. Pull or push the steel wires (J) in and out of the fixture.
  6. Connect the wires according to the provided wire connection charts. Do not connect any other wires to ground wires.

  • Can I install this product myself?
    While it is possible to install this product yourself, we highly recommend hiring a licensed electrician for installation to ensure safety and proper functionality.

  • What is the maximum wattage for each bulb?
    The maximum wattage per bulb is 40W for Type B bulbs.

  • Can I use this product with a voltage other than 120V?
    No, this product is designed to be used with a voltage of 120V. Using a different voltage may result in damage or malfunction.

  • How should I clean the lamp?
    To clean the lamp, simply wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using acidic or alkaline substances, as they may damage the surface of the lamp.

  3. Before you start, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
      Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  4. Mounting surface should be clean, dry, flat, strong enough and 1/4” larger than the canopy on all sides. Any gaps between the mounting surface and canopy exceeding 3/16” should be corrected as required.

  5. Make sure that the ceiling or wall can stand the weight of the lamp before installation.

  6. Make sure the voltage you are using is 120V. The maximum wattage is Type B, Max 40W per bulb.

  7. Keep the lamp away from acidic and alkaline substances in case of damaging the surface of the lamp.

  8. When replacing bulbs, you should turn off or unplug the lamp and you must wait until it is cool as bulbs get hot quickly.

  9. The safety instructions appearing in this manual are not meant to cover all possible conditions that may occur. It must be understood that common sense, caution and care must be used with any electrical products.

ASSEMBLY & INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Carefully remove the fixture from the carton and check that all parts and accessories are included as shown in the above illustration.

  2. Turn off power
    Before you start the installation, NEVER attempt any work without shutting off the electricity until the work is done.

    • Go to the main fuse, or circuit breaker, box in your home.
      Place the main power switch in the “OFF” position.

    • Place the wall switch in the “OFF” position.

  3. Unscrew ball knobs (H) from canopy (E) then gently remove mounting plate assembly (A).

  4. Carefully pass supply wires through mounting plate assembly (A).
    Secure mounting plate assembly (A) to the outlet box with mounting screws (D).
    NOTE: the side of mounting plate assembly (A) marked “GND” must face out.

  5. To adjust the hanging height of the fixture:

    • Press down and hold lock nut (F) by hand.

    • Pull or push steel wires (J) in and out of canopy (E) to increase or decrease the hanging height.
      To adjust the length of cable (I):

    • Use Allen wrench (L) to unscrew the screw in one of strain reliefs (G) as shown in the illustration.

    • Carefully pull and push cable (I), then tighten the screw till snug.
      After adjusting the height of the fixture, to adjust insurance buckles (M):

    • Use a wrench to loosen insurance buckles (M), and then pull insurance buckles (M) to the bottom of canopy by hand.

    • Tighten insurance buckles (M) with a wrench to prevent body from sliding off as shown in the illustration.

  6. Make wire connections
    Connect wires as below wires connection shown. REFER TO THE FOLLOWING CHARTS, NEVER CONNECT OTHER WIRES TO GROUND WIRES.

    • Twist wires together with plastic wire connector (C) until tightly joined.
    • Wrap each connector with approved electrical tape for a more secure connection.
    • Carefully tuck all wires into the outlet box.
  7. Fix canopy (E) to mounting plate assembly (A) and secure with the previously removed ball knobs (H).
    Note: canopy (E) should be snug against the ceiling and ball knobs (H).
    If not, adjust the threaded length of the preassembled mounting screws on mounting plate assembly (A):

    • first, unscrew the pre-assembled hex nuts;
    • then, screw the pre-assembled mounting screws in or out of mounting plate (A);
    • when the secure length is achieved, tighten the pre-assembled hex nuts and back to step 7.
  8. Install the bulb (Not included) (Please do not exceed the maximum wattage recommended on the socket.)

  9. Check everything is already installed properly, then you could turn on the light. Enjoy!

CLEANING

To clean, wipe the fixture with a soft cloth. Clean glass with a mild cleaner (such as mild and non-abrasive soap). Do not use abrasive materials such as scouring pads or powders, steel wool or abrasive paper.
