- The coupling contains lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects or other reproductive harm. WASH HANDS after handling. This hose is not for drinking water use.
- DO NOT place your hands in your mouth after handling the product. DO NOT place the product in your mouth. DO NOT drink water from the hose. WASH HANDS AFTER USE.
- Please consider carefully the appropriate method to be used in mounting this hose reel. Hardware is included for your convenience, but may not be suitable for all mounting conditions. Some surfaces like vinyl siding or stucco may require special considerations or additional hardware. Improper mounting can cause personal injury or property damage. If you are unsure, contact a home improvement professional.
- The water hose reel is not intended for use as a potable water source.
PREPARATION
Before assembling the product, make sure all parts are present. Compare parts
with the package contents list and hardware contents list. If any part is
missing or damaged, do not attempt to assemble the product.
Estimated Assembly Time: 30 – 40 minutes Tools Required for assembly and
installation (not included):
- Adjustable Wrench or 17 mm
- Socket and Socket wrench
- Phillips Screwdriver
- Stud Finder
- Tape Measure
- Hammer
- Drill & 1/2″ (13 mm) Masonry
- Drill Bit, 3/8″ (10 mm)
- Drill Bit, 7/32″ (5.5 mm)
- Drill Bit, 3/16″ (5 mm)
- Drill Bit
- Pen or Pencil
- Level
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Install Mounting Rail to Masonry Wall

Position the mounting rail (D) on the wall at a convenient height.

Use a level to ensure the mounting rail (D) is horizontal.

Mark hole center locations on the wall. WARNING Ensure there are no live electric wires or plumbing in the wall where you mount the hose reel. Always use eye protection when using power tools.

Using a 1/2″ (13 mm) masonry drill bit, drill on the marks you made in step 3.

Using a hammer, lightly tap the masonry anchors into the holes, being careful not to damage them, until fully seated. Remove the nuts and washers.
NOTE Keep the nut at the top of the threads while you are tapping the masonry anchor in. -
Hang the mounting rail (D) onto the exposed anchors.

Replace the nuts and washers, tightening them with a wrench or socket.

Install Mounting Rail to a Stud Wall

Locate the studs using a stud finder.

Position the mounting rail (D) on the wall at a convenient height.

Use a level to ensure the mounting rail (D) is horizontal.

Mark hole center locations on the wall.
WARNING Ensure there are no live electric wires or plumbing in the wall where you mount the hose reel. Always use eye protection when using power tools. -
Using a 7/32″ (5.5 mm) drill bit, drill pilot holes centered on the marks you made in step 4.

Hang the mounting rail (D) with the lag screws, using a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the lag screws.

Install Mounting Rail to a Drywall Wall
- Locate the studs using a stud finder.
- Position the mounting rail (D) on the wall at a convenient height.
- Use a level to ensure the mounting rail (D) is horizontal.
- Mark hole center locations on the wall. WARNING Ensure there are no live electric wires or plumbing in the wall where you mount the hose reel. Always use eye protection when using power tools.
- Using a 7/32″ (5.5 mm) drill bit, drill pilot holes centered on the marks you made in step 4.
- Hang the mounting rail (D) with the lag screws, using a Phillips screwdriver to tighten the lag screws.
Hardware Use
Install Mounting Clips
- Hang the hose reel (A) on the mounting rail (D).
- Attach 2 mounting clips (E) to the bottom rail (F), one at the far left and one at the far right.
- Mark hole center locations on the wall.
- Remove the hose reel (A).
- If you are drilling into the studs, use a 3/16″ drill bit to drill pilot holes on the marks you made. If you are drilling into drywall or masonry, use a 3/8″ drill bit to drill the holes on the marks you made. Tap the plastic anchors (EE) into the holes.
- Open the mounting clips and hang the hose

- Remove screw FF from the shaft and slide the crank handle (C) onto the shaft. Insert screw EE and tight down with a Phillips screwdriver.

Attach the Leader Hose
- Inspect the threaded female connector on hose reel (A), and confirm that the rubber O-ring is properly seated.
- Connect the threaded male connector end of the leader hose (B) to the threaded female fitting on the hose reel spool.
- Tighten by hand until snug (clockwise).
- With adjustable pliers or wrench tighten fully.
MOVING OR STORING
NOTE Freezing temperatures can damage your hose and watering accessories.
Always disconnect the connector hose and drain the water from the hose prior
to freezing conditions.
NOTE Prior to removing the hose reel for winter or moving the hose reel
to a new location, always disconnect the connector hose and drain the water
from the hoses before storing or moving.
To remove the hose reel from the wall cradle
- Turn off the water at the house water spicket.
- Unscrew leader hose (B) from the water spicket (leader hose (B) connects the hose reel (A) to the house spicket).
- Unscrew the garden hose from hose reel (A).
- Unlatch two lower clips.
- Lift hose reel (A) upward and out to remove from the cradle system.
- For re-installation, follow the instructions in reverse.

WARRANTY
This water hose reel is warranted by the manufacturer to the original purchaser from the original purchase date for five (5) years subject to the warranty coverage described herein. This water hose reel is warranted to the original user to be free from defects in material and workmanship. If you believe that a water hose reel is defective, return the water hose reel, with proper proof of purchase to the point of purchase. If it is determined that the water hose reel is defective and covered by this warranty, the distributor will replace the water hose reel or refund the purchase price. This warranty is void if: defects in materials or workmanship or damages resulting from repairs or alterations which have been made or attempted by others or the unauthorized use of nonconforming parts; the damage is due to normal wear, the damage is due to abuse (including overloading of the water hose reel beyond capacity), improper maintenance, neglect or accident; or the damage is due to the use of the water hose reel after partial failure or use with improper accessories or unauthorized repair or alteration. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
