Installation Tools Required
Vehicle used for installation:
Toyota Hilux 2020 -> (Facelift)
Standard Stereo
Some differences may occur between different car and year models.
ZDST6CS Installation 1
Tools required:
-
Door removal
-
Remove tweeter panel
-
Disconnect tweeter connector
-
Tweeter connector disconnected ZDST6CS Installation 2
Tools required: -
Remove plastic panel
-
Unscrew the screw
-
Remove armrest
-
Remove window switch panel ZDST6CS Installation 3
Tools required: -
Disconnect the connector
-
Unscrew the two screws
-
Pull the door towards you
-
Lift up the door ZDST6CS Installation 4
Tools required:
-
Disconnect the connector
-
Door panel removed
-
Drill out the OEM speaker
-
Connect speaker harness ZDST6CS Installation 5
Tools required: -
Rivet the speaker in place
-
Connect the speaker connector
-
Reassemble the door in reverse
-
Remove OEM tweeter
-
OEM tweeter removed
-
Mount the Phoenix Gold tweeter
-
Connect tweeter speaker harness
-
Mount back the tweeter panel
