FUNCTION KEYS AND OPERATING MODES (REFER IMAGE “F”)
-
Fan speed: The fan speed in Normal” and “Normal + Fan” modes may be set to 40%, 60%, 80% or 100% of maximum speed. Switching between the speeds takes place with a few seconds’ delay.
In “Extra dry” mode, the fan speed can’t be changed. -
Setting of the desired humidity: Only active in program modes “Normal” and “Normal + Fan”.
A desired humidity can be set between 35-75% in steps of 1 percentage point.
The set value is first displayed fixed and then flashing before the actual value reappears. -
Mode selection: Selection of the operating program; refer to points 4- 6.
-
Normal mode: Used to set the target value for humidity and fan speed manually. When the set target value is reached, the compressor and fan shut off and restarts if the humidity rises above the target value.
-
Normal + Fan mode: Continuous air circulation even if the humidity target value is reached.
-
Extra Dry Mode: The dehumidification process is in continuous operation with the fan at maximum fan speed until it is turned off manually or the mode is changed.
-
Relative humidity: Shows current and desired target values. The latter is in connection with target value setting.
-
Defrost: If necessary, the cooling circuit is defrosted automatically, whereby the compressor is switched off, and only the fan is in operation.
The symbol goes out when the dehumidification process is restarted. -
Low room temperature: If the ambient temperature falls below 2°C, the dehumidification process shuts off and resumes automatically when the ambient temperature rises above 2°C.
The symbol is lit as long as the temperature is 2°C or lower. -
Too high ambient temperature: If the ambient temperature exceeds 35°C, the dehumidification process shuts off and resumes automatically when the ambient temperature falls below 35°C. The symbol is lit as long as the temperature is 35°C or higher.
-
Room temperature: Displays the detected ambient temperature.
-
Fan speed: Shows the fan speed in 4 steps. 1 bar is 40% speed, 2 bars 60%, 3 bars 80% and 4 bars are maximum speed.
INSTALLATION AND WALL MOUNTING (REFER IMAGE “G”)
- I f the dehumidifier is transported, leave it standing for 4 hours before use. It is very important for the oil to flow back into the compressor, as the dehumidifier otherwise may take severe damage.
- The dehumidifier must always be secured to the wall. Make sure the wall that the dehumidifier is being fixed to is strong enough to support its weight.
- The dehumidifier should not be placed near radiators or other heat sources or exposed to direct sunlight, as it will reduce its performance.
- For correct and optimal position of the unit, refer image “G”. For most efficient air flow, mount so that the exhaust is directed along the laundry.
To mount
- G 1: Install the included wall bracket. Always make sure that you use the correct screws for the support of the machine to the wall
- G2: Hang the dehumidifier
- G3: Screw in the safety screws
- Make sure that the airflow from the inlet and outlet isn’t blocked. Connect a ½” garden hose (hose not included) to the port on the unit. Route the hose into a drain.
CONTROL PANEL COVER (REFER IMAGE “E”
The dehumidifier is supplied with a display cover, so the settings cannot be
changed. To mount the cover:
- Open the door.
- Loosen the screws of the display cover (2pcs).
- Remove the display cover.
- Reassembly is in reverse order.
THE HYGROSTAT
- The dehumidifier will only run when the ambient humidity exceeds the set value, except when using “Extra dry” mode. When the set humidity is reached, the operation will automatically shut off and will resume in the same manner when the humidity rises.
MEMORY FUNCTION AND AUTOMATIC RESTART AFTER POWER FAILURE
- In the event of a power failure, the unit will automatically restart when the power returns and continues to operate according to your latest settings.
AUTOMATIC DEFROST
- The unit will defrost automatically when needed. When the unit is in defrost mode, the compressor shuts off, showing a symbol on the display. It will continue its operations once the defrost is completed.
DRAINAGE
- Route the hose to a drain.
AIR FILTERS
- The air filters prevent dust and dirt from entering the dehumidifier, prolonging its life expectancy. It will also clean the air as dust and other particles are collected by the filters.
- The prefilter must be cleaned regularly; otherwise, the dehumidifier might lose capacity and be seriously damaged. To clean the prefilter, open the dehumidifier door. The filter is positioned at the front of the air inlet opening and is easily lifted out, refer image “C1”. Simply wipe any lint away with a damp cloth or you can use a vacuum cleaner. Ensure the filter is refitted properly to prevent unfiltered air from entering the unit.
- The SMF filter, we recommend at least one SMF filter change per year, refer image “C2”. To follow the warranty program, Register your dehumidifier at warranty-woods.com
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- WARNING! Before performing any maintenance work on the drying room dehumidifier, the machine must be disconnected from the electrical supply. This is done by turning of
the main (operation) switch. All maintenance on the electrical system must be performed by qualified electricians. All maintenance on the cooling system must be performed by qualified cooling technicians
Use a soft, moist cloth to clean the external parts of the units. Avoid using solvents or strong cleaners, as this might damage the surface of the dehumidifier. It is important to check the air filters regularly and clean or replace them when needed.
RESETTING OF OVERPRESSURE PROTECTION
- If the dehumidification process stops working, it may be due to the overpressure protection being triggered. It is located behind the front cover and is reset as follows:
- Turn off power by removing the plug from the wall socket, or by turning off the main (operation) switch.
- Look for the cause of the protection being triggered and fix the fault. The cause may be an electrical fault or insufficient air circulation. Check the filter status and that the fan runs.
- Open the door. Remove the two screws on the cover, sitting next to the air outlet. Refer image “D”. There is a reset button for the overpressure protection inside the unit. Depress the button.
- Reattach the cover.
RECOMMENDED LIMITS FOR USE
- Temperature: + 2˚C to + 35˚C
- Relative humidity: 35% to 90%
- Recommended humidity level c.a. 50% RH
IMPORTANT
Wood’s dehumidifier shall be connected to a grounded electrical outlet with a
voltage of 220V-240V 50Hz.

The dehumidifier does not dehumidify|
- Make sure the fan wheel is spinning.
- Make sure that the air can flow freely through the dehumidifier. The air exhaust and air filters must be clean.
- Listen if the compressor is running, but keep in mind that the dehumidifier may be defrosting, causing the compressor to stop.
- Check that a thick layer of ice has not formed on the cooling circuit behind the filter.
- Check the overpressure protection.
-
- Check that the actual humidity value exceeds the set value.
Abnormal noise|
- Check the levelling of the unit and the wall mounting installation
Error code E2|
- If E2 is shown in the display, the humidity sensor may be defective. Try turn the mains switch to OFF, wait 10 seconds and turn it back ON. If the error code persists, contact your dealer.
