WOOD’S WDD90

Wood’s WDD90 is a convenient and efficient portable adsorption dehumidifier. The adsorption technique allows for use in colder areas, with great capacity. As the dehumidifier works, warm and dry air is exhausted on the top of the unit. It is suitable for basements, washing rooms, summer houses etc.

SECURITY WARNINGS

Please read these security warnings before using the unit:

1. Unplug the unit from its power supply before cleaning, storage, or maintenance of the filter.
2. Always keep a safe distance from water sources.
3. Do not let the machine near heat equipment or inflammable or dangerous goods.
4. Do not put fingers or other objects into air inlet or air outlet.
5. Do not stand on the machine.
6. Always drain the water according to the instructions.
7. If the power cable is damaged, it must be replaced by qualified personnel.
8. The appliance is for indoor use only and should not be used in bathrooms and shower areas.
9. The appliance is not to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction;
   • children being supervised not to play with the appliance;
   • this appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved;
   • children shall not play with the appliance;
   • cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision; – If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.

INSTALLATION AND PLACEMENT

Wood’s dehumidifiers are easy to move around, but bare in mind the following.

• The dehumidifier should not be placed near radiators or other heat sources or be exposed to direct sunlight, as it will reduce its performance.
• Keep at least 25cm distance from walls and other obstructions to maximize the air flow.
• For optimum performance, place the dehumidifier in the middle of the room.
• Make sure that the air flow from the inlet and outlet isn’t blocked.

INSTALLATION

1. Place the dehumidifier on a flat and solid ground, preferably in the middle of the room.
2. Close all windows and ventilators in the room to prevent moist outside air from flowing into the room
3. Connect the dehumidifier to a grounded power outlet.

CONTROL PANEL

1. On/Off Button
   Turn the unit on and off.

2. SWING Button
   Switch on/off the swing function.

3. FAN Button
   Press repeatedly to switch between 1 (low speed), 2 (medium speed), 3 (high speed), A (auto speed).

4. IONIZER Button
   Press the key to start the Ionizer.

5. TIMER Button
   Select the auto shut off function from 0~8 hours.

6. HUMIDITY Button
   Press repeatedly to set the humidity between CO (continuous dehumidifying), 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80%. Display(above point 7,8,9,10,11,12,13)

   (Press TIMER button for about 3 second to switch the Child Lock on/off)

USING THE WDD90

HYGROSTAT CONTROLLED

The unit will run only when the ambient humidity exceeds your set value.

AUTOMATIC RESTART

In the event of a power failure, the unit will continue to work according to your latest settings once the power returns.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

1. Starting the dehumidifier
   Press the POWER key to start and stop the unit.

2. Set humidity
   The unit has 10 available settings for desired humidity; 40%, 45%, 50%, 55%, 60%, 65%, 70%, 75%, 80% and ”continuous”. In continuous mode, the unit will continue to run despite ambient humidity level being reached.

3. Set fan speed
   The WDD90 has 4 fan speeds; (1) Low, (2) Medium, (3) High and (A) Auto. Press the SPEED key to choose fan speed.

4. Set timer
   Short press the TIMER key to set timer for automatic shut off. Choose between 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 hours. Press it for about 3 seconds to switch on/off the Child Lock function.

5. Air angle (SWING)
   Short press the AIR ANGLE key to let the louver open, for example when drying clothes or washing. Press it for about 3 seconds to activate the WiFi connection.

6. Ionizer
   Press the ION key to activate the ionizer. The ionizer cleans the air from harmful particles at the same time as the unit dehumidifies NOTE!
   After shutting off, the fan continues to run for about 10 minutes to prevent mould from forming inside the unit.

7. Switch ON/OFF the button beep tone
   While the unit is on, press the SWING button and TIMER button for about 3 seconds to switch on/ off the button beep tone.
   The unit still beeps when the water tank is full.

WATER DRAINAGE

The water is collected in the water bucket on the side of the unit. When the water bucket is full, the unit automatically shuts off. An alarm sounds and a light illuminates on the display. Remove the water bucket to empty it and reinsert it.

ATTACH THE WATER HOSE

Connect the included hose on the back of the dehumidifier – this way you don’t have to empty the water bucket. Lead the other end to a drain. Make sure that the water can be drained downwards.

THE AIR FILTER

The air filter prevents dust and dirt from entering the machine, prolonging its life expectancy.

FILTER CLEANING

1. Remove the filter from the back of the unit.
2. Clean the filter with a soft cleaner and warm water. Let the filter dry fully before reinserting it. The filter can also be vacuum-cleaned.
3. Reinsert the filter.

MAINTENANCE

• Clean the unit with a soft moist cloth. Do not use solvents or strong cleaners as this might damage the surface of the unit.
• The top grids can be vacuum-cleaned.

SERVICE

If the dehumidifier requires servicing, you must first contact your local retailer. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.

Two years guarantee against faults in manufacturing. Please note that the guarantee is only valid upon a purchase receipt’s presentation. This machine complies with EEC directives 76/889 + 82/499

HINTS

Sometimes it may be useful to use a frost guard or heater fan to make sure that the temperature does not fall below +5˚C. Even if the WDD90 works down to temperatures as low as +1°C, its capacity will increase at higher temperatures as warm air carries more water.

For maximum dehumidifying power in a room, it is recommended that the air supply from outside and from adjoining rooms is minimized – close doors and ventilators.

To achieve a safe and reliable protection against mould and moisture damage, keep the relative humidity between 50% and 60%.

To dry laundry, choose fan speed HIGH and direct the air flow towards the laundry.

The unit has a protection against internal overheating. If the internal temperature is too high, the unit will automatically shut off. Unplug the unit from the power outlet and wait 10 min before restarting it.

WIFI-FUNCTION

1. Register and follow the instructions. Accept all steps. (Carefully read the Privacy Policy and if you approve the agreements, tap the agree bottom to continue.)

2. Open Woods Connect app and on the home screen, press add device. 3.  To enter pairing mode press and hold the Swing/WiFi button for 3 seconds to see that the WiFi icon on the display will flash rapidly. 4. When you discover the device on the screen press add. 5. Fill in your WiFi settings and password. 6. Press + to add WDD90. 7. Wait until WDD90 is added, then press done. 8. Download the Woods Connect app from App Store or Google Play.
