Product Usage Instructions
Power On/Off
To power on/off the JBL Authentics 500, locate the power button and press
it accordingly.
App Setup
To set up the speaker using the JBL One app:
- Connect your Android or iOS device to the Wi-Fi network.
- Download and install the JBL One app from your device’s app store.
- Follow the app instructions to complete the speaker setup.
Music Streaming
To stream music through the JBL One app or supported music services:
- Ensure your JBL Authentics 500 is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- Open the JBL One app on your Android or iOS device.
- Select the desired music service or access your music playlist within the app.
Voice Control
To use voice control with Google Assistant or Amazon Alexa:
- Complete the voice setup in the JBL One app.
- Ensure your JBL Authentics 500 is connected to the Wi-Fi network.
- Use voice commands to get hands-free help at home.
Button Control
To control treble, bass, and access music playlists and speaker settings:
- Locate the respective buttons on the JBL Authentics 500.
- Press the buttons to adjust treble, bass, or access music playlists and speaker settings personalized in the JBL One app.
Bluetooth Pairing
To pair your device via Bluetooth:
- Ensure your JBL Authentics 500 is in pairing mode (Bluetooth settings should indicate it is discoverable).
- On your device, go to Bluetooth settings and search for available devices.
- Select the JBL Authentics 500 from the list of discovered devices to establish a Bluetooth connection.
AUX Playback
To play music through the audio cable:
- Connect the audio cable to the appropriate AUX input on the JBL Authentics 500.
- Ensure that no music is playing through Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
- Start music playback through the audio cable.
