General Safety Instructions

READ BEFORE USING YOUR HUMIDIFIER

DANGER: means if the safety information is not followed someone will be seriously injured or killed.

CAUTION: means if the safety information is not followed someone may be injured.

  1. To reduce the risk of fire or shock hazard, this humidifier has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). Plug humidifier directly into a 110VAC electrical outlet. Do not use extension cords. If the plug does not fully fit into the outlet, reverse plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do not change the plug in any way.
  2. Keep the electric cord out of traffic areas. To reduce the risk of fire hazard, never put the electric cord under rugs, near heat registers, radiators, stoves or heaters.
  3. Always unplug the unit before moving, cleaning or removing the fan assembly section from the humidifier, or whenever it is not in service.
  4. Keep the humidifier clean. To reduce the risk of injury, fire or damage to humidifier, use only cleaners specifically recommended for humidifiers. Never use flammable, combustible or poisonous materials to clean your humidifier.
  5. Do not put foreign objects inside the humidifier.
  6. Do not allow unit to be used as a toy. Close attention is necessary when used by or near children.
  7. To reduce the risk of electrical hazard or damage to humidifier, do not tilt, jolt or tip humidifier while unit is running.
  8. To reduce the risk of accidental electrical shock, do not touch the cord or controls with wet hands.
  9. To reduce the risk of fire, do not use near an open flame such as a candle or other flame source.

WARNING: For your own safety, do not use humidifier if any parts are damaged or missing.
WARNING: To reduce risk of fire, electric shock, or injury always unplug before servicing or cleaning.
WARNING: To reduce the risk of fire or shock hazard, do not pour or spill liquid into control or motor area. If controls get wet, let them dry completely and have unit checked by authorized service personnel before plugging in.

  • CAUTION:
    In order to get the mosteffective use from your humidifier, ensure that the door and windows are closed and that the humidifier is used in a confined space without air vent.

ADDING WATER

  • lift the unit
    Put the fingers in the slots of both sides and lift the cover off the body.

  • Add water with a kettle, be aware not let the water over level line.

CAUTION: The huimidifer must be unplugged and power off before adding water.
CAUTION: Do not spill water on fan motor. Electrical components must be kept dry.

EVAPORATOR BRANE CLEANING

CAUTION: The humidifier must be unplugged off the power before cleaning or maintenance.

Take off the brane from the rack, wash it weekly or while there is odour. Clean it with room temperature water and neutral clean lotion, dry it naturally, do not dry it by electrical drier or under heavy sunshine, which will cause to shorten the lift span of the brane and affect the humidity performance.

CLEANING AND MAINTANANCE

  • The humidifier must be unplugged off the power before cleaning or maintenance.
  • Do not clean it with chemicals, iron or wooden brushes or any similar products.
  • CLEANING the outside surface with wet soft cloth and dry cloth.
  • CLEANING inside: remove the top cover, take out the evaporator brane and wash it clean.
  • CLEANING the water tank with wet soft cloth and wipe it clean with dry cloth.
  • The evaporator brane and water tank are suggested to clean once a week to prevent bacteria or bad odor.

PRECAUTION AND WARNING

Before installing and using the product, please read the manual carefully and follow the instructions hereunder:

  • The humidifier must be placed on a flat surface of floor or table.
  • The product must be unplugged off the power before moving or maintenance.
  • Do not block the air inlet and the air vent with any objects.
  • Do not put finger or any objects in the protective piece, the movable parts , the air inlet and the air outlet.
  • Do not let objects like hair or fabric be near the main unit, as these objects may get caught in or block the air inlets and outlets.
  • In case the cord wire damaged, maintenance must be operated by professional person.
  • Put the humidifier in the safe place avoid children touching or pushing it.
  • The instrument is only applicable with power source of 110V~ 60Hz.
  • Connect the power plug with correct socket.
  • Do not pull the wire or touch the plug with wet hand.
  • Tilting the humidifier may cause the water overflow. In this case, the humidifier must be unplugged to preventing electric shock, fire or other damage.
  • The humidifier must be unplugged off the power if there is noise, odour, high heat or water leakage.
  • This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance.
  • Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be operated by children without supervision.
  • Do not put the humidifier in water.

WARNING:
STOP USING THE HUMIDIFIER UNDER FOLLOWING CASES TO PREVENT ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE OR OTHER DAMAGE:

  • The humidifier is tilting or fallen.
  • There is water leakage.
  • The unit body is broken or with crack.
  • The instrument gives out noise, odour or high heat.
