Operation and Functions
Front Panel
A. Power LED — Glows blue when
the switch is powered on
B. IR window — Receives IR signals from IR emitting devices
C. Input LEDs — Glows blue when the input number is selected
D. Output LED — Glows blue when the HDMI out port is connected to a display
E. Selection button – Short press to cycle through the inputs. Hold the button
for three seconds to enable/disable auto-switching mode for the input source.
Rear Panel A. HDMI In ports — Connect an
HDMI cable from a source
B. HDMI Out port — Connect an HDMI cable to a display
C. IR RCVR PWR switch — OFF to connect to a control system | ON to connect to
an IR Receiver
D. IR EXT port — IR input to connect to IR Receiver or to output of a control
system
E. RS-232 serial port — RS-232 input to connect to the output of a control
system
F. Thread-locking power connector — Connect to the included 12V DC, 2A power
supply.
Installation
- Connect an HDMI cable from the source to the HDMI inputs of the switch.
- Connect an HDMI cable from the display to the switch’s HDMI out port.
- Connect any IR receivers or control systems to the switch.
- Connect the switch’s power supply. The Power, Output, and selected Input LEDs should glow blue.
IR Control
- Power — Press to power the switch on or set it to standby mode
- Prev — Press to select the previous source
- Next — Press to select the next source
- Input 1/2/3/4/5 — Press the desired input number to select the connected source

RS-232 Control
The switcher can be controlled using RS-232 commands from a PC or control
system.
Use the included three-pin phoenix connector to connect the control device to
the switcher.
