Product Usage Instructions

OS Update Instructions
If your OS is already upgraded to A13 without updating the dimensioning software 1.3.0.0, please follow the instructions below to update the software:

Option 1 – Uninstall the non-supported version of dimensioning

1. Uninstall the non-supported version of dimensioning in one of several ways:
   • Use an EMM to uninstall com.zebra.dimensioning
   • Open Dimensioning app settings and select “Uninstall updates”
   • Enter developer mode, enable USB debugging, and run “adb uninstall com.zebra.dimensioning”
2. Install the 1.3.0.0 dimensioning software bundle. Refer to Zebra Mobile Parcel Installation and Setup instructions for detailed steps.

Option 2 – Downgrade the OS

1. Downgrade the device OS to A11.
2. Install the 1.3.0.0 dimensioning software bundle. Refer to Zebra Mobile Parcel Installation and Setup instructions for detailed steps.
3. Upgrade the device OS to A13.

Recommended Zebra Android OS Version

• Android 11 – 11-17-05.00-RG-U00-STD-ATH-04 and above.
• Android 13 – 13-14-21.00-TG-U00-STD-ATH-04 and above.

Instructions for OS Update

It is required to upgrade dimensioning software to 1.3.0.0 BEFORE upgrading the device from A11 to A13.
Note: If OS is already upgraded to A13 without updating dimensioning software 1.3.0.0, Please follow below instructions to update Dimensioning software 1.3.0.0

• Option 1 – Uninstall the non-supported version of dimensioning

1. Uninstall the non-supported version of dimensioning in one of several ways:
  * Use an EMM to uninstall com.zebra.dimensioning
  * Open Dimensioning app settings and select ‘Uninstall updates”
