USE:
Avoid busy areas or cluttered spaces, as well as slippery or damp surfaces.
Avoid skating in water, soil and sand.
Use your protection: wrist guards, knee pads, elbow pads and a helmet.
Check that the skateboard’s steering mechanism is correctly adjusted and the
elements are firmly attached.
To get going, put your support foot on the board (Right or Left), then, using
the other foot, push on the ground. This skateboard can also be used sitting
or kneeling when learning to balance.
There’s no braking system; you have to get off the skateboard before it picks
up too much speed.
MAINTENANCE:
Regular maintenance improves the skateboard’s performance.
The bearings are self-lubricating, just clean them externally with a dry
cloth.
File down all sharp edges caused by use.
Tightening the nut 1 allows you, by compressing the plastic struts 2, to
adjust the steering system of the trucks 3.
Greater tightening is better suited to a heavier weight, and vice versa. By
loosening, you will also increase the product’s turning capacity.
Regularly check screwed-on elements as well as the general condition of your
product.
For safety reasons, you must not make any modifications to this product.
Pay particular attention to check the board for splinters or cracks and, if
required, replace the board.
Self-locking nuts and other self-locking fasteners may lose their
effectiveness.
WARNING:
Use your product in places provided for this purpose (do not use on pavements,
cobbles or in the streets), places where you can have fun away from other
users to avoid any accidents. Avoid places where accidents with skateboards
have already happened.
If you lose your balance, don’t wait to fall off – get off your board and
start again.
Start by skating on level ground, or on gentle slopes. Jump or get off your
board before you pick up too much speed.
Most serious injuries caused by skateboarding falls are fractures; so first
learn to fall without the skateboard (if possible, by rolling on the ground).
Skateboarders should practise in the presence of a friend or parent. Most
serious accidents happen during the first month’s activity.
When you jump off your board, always check where it’s going so as not to hurt
someone.
To improve, you can join a club. At all times, take care of yourself and
others.
If you are under eight years old, use the product under the supervision of an
adult.
CAUTION
Skateboards can be dangerous.
