SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, you should always take basic safety measures. Always keep the following in mind:

Before using check that the voltage in the outlet is the same as indicated on the product’s rating plate.
WARNING! Do not use the appliance in the bathroom or near water. -
Do not immerse the product in water or use in damp areas.
The product gets very hot. Ensure that it does not come into contact with skin. -
Turn off the product and unplug the electric cord if the product does not function as it should. Do not use the product before it has before it has been examined and repaired by a qualified technician.

Pull out the plug from the outlet when the product is not in use, before you clean the product or before you place the product into storage.

Store the product in a safe place out of the reach of children.

Do not use the product close to flammable objects, e.g. fabric or paper.

Do not use the product for purposes other than what is described in the assembly and use instructions.

Do not expose the electric cord to high temperatures. Ensure that the electric cord does not get twisted or placed so that someone can trip on it.

Always check the product, it’s supply cord and plug before use. If the supply cord is damaged, it should be replaced by supplier, retailer, it‘s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

For additional protection, the installation of a residual current device (RCD) having a rated residual operating current not exceeding 30mA is advisable in the electrical circuit supplying the bathroom. Ask your installer for advice.

Do not use the product in areas that contain static dust that can easily ignite.

Do not wrap the supply cord around the product!

Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the product.

Avoid contact of the hot surfaces with your face, neck, and other body parts.

Due to high temperature do not put the product on heat-sensitive surfaces or soft surfaces (bed or sofa). Do not cover the product.

Be careful! Parts of the product remain hot for some time after switching off the unit.

Touch only the handle of the product.

The power cord should not:
- touch hot objects.
- run through or over sharp objects.
- be used as a handle.

Never connect the product to incorrect voltage. Never leave the product unattended.

Always make sure your hands are dry before operating the product or plugging and unplugging the product.

When unplugging the product, grab only the plug, refrain from pulling on the cord as this can lead to damage to the cord or other risks.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.

Always place the wave iron with the stand on a heat-resistant, stable and flat surface.

Not recommended for wet or synthetic hair.

USE
IMPORTANT! This product reaches high temperatures.

Always place the wave iron on its stand on a solid, flat, heat resistant surface as shown above. The stand will prevent the hot metal parts from touching the surface and causing damage. Do not place the appliance on any soft or uneven surfaces such as carpets, bedding or rugs and never cover it. The wave iron reaches a high temperature quickly. Plug into a suitable mains supply when the appliance is ready for use.

Press the On/Off button approx. 2 seconds. The digital display window will flash, and the wave iron will heat up readily and be ready for use when the digital display stops flashing.

When the wave iron is first switched on, the temperature is always at the default setting of 100°C.

Select your desired temperature by pressing “+”or “-“buttons.
Guidelines for temperatures:
Thin and fine hair: 150°C
Normal hair: 170°C
Thick and coarse hair: 180°C
To prevent damaged hair, we do not recommend using temperatures higher than 180°C. -
During use, the temperature buttons will be locked. To unlock and adjust the temperature, simply keep pressing “+”or “-”button 3~4 seconds. You can adjust the temperature range in 10°C increments from 100°–200°C. (100°C, 110°C, 120°C, 130°C, 140°C, 150°C, 160°C, 170°C, 180°C, 190°C, 200°C). The display indicates the selected temperature setting. Always use a heat protectant spray on your hair to prevent damage.

Separate a section of hair approximately 5 cm in width and smooth it out with a brush.

Place the chosen section of hair between the clamp of the wave iron and the barrels. Start from the top close to the roots and clamp the hair, making sure that the hair is evenly placed inside the barrels. Be careful not to touch the scalp with the tool. Be careful not to touch the very hot wave iron. We highly recommend using the provided heat resistant glove, see separate instruction sheet.

Hold the wave iron in place until the hair is fully heated, this will be almost instant. When holding the wave iron always ensure fingertips are placed away from the hot part.

For best result, keep the strands of hair smooth whilst you work.

After use, press On/Off button for 2 seconds, the digital display will go off, indicating that the appliance is cooling down.

When the wave iron has completely cooled, clean with a clean damp, soft cloth. Do not use chemical cleaners.
CARE AND CLEANING
- Pull out the plug from the socket-outlet before you clean the wave iron.
- Let the hair straightener cool down – do not touch any hot parts.
- Wipe the product with a dry cloth.
- Do not use corrosive or abrasive agents for cleaning. Never immerse the wave iron in water or other liquid.
STORAGE
- Before taking the unit for keeping, let it cool down completely and make sure that the body is dry.
- Do not wind the cord around the body of the unit; it may cause damages to the unit.
- For easy storage there is a hanging loop, where you can store the unit provided that water does not get on it.
- Keep the unit in a dry place, out of reach of children.
ENVIRONMENT AND RECYCLING
When the product is used up, leave it for recycling according to local waste disposal regulations. Note that the product must not be disposed of with normal household waste.
RIGHT OF COMPLAINT
By law the product must be returned to the place of purchase along with the original receipt in the event of a complaint. The user is liable for any damage to the product that is caused by not using the product for its intended purpose or by not following this user manual correctly. The right of complaint will not apply in these instances.
