DOG CARE PC02 Smart Dog Clippers for Grooming

Can I Wash The Blades?

No, the clipper isn’t waterproof, so please do not use water to clean the blades. After removing the blades with the clipper off, you can and clean the hair away with the cleaning brush included in the box or a worn out toothbrush.

The Clipper Will Not Charge

  • a. Check that the household electrics are on—test by plugging in another appliance.
  • b. Check that the outlet is working—test the clipper in a different outlet.
  • c. Check whether the charging cable is not plugged in properly. The cable must be fully inserted. If the cable is inserted halfway, the clipper will not charge.
  • d. If using a USB adapter to connect to the power outlet, check that the adapter is 5V/1A.
  • e. Inspect the charging cable for signs of damage. If damaged, stop using and contact customer support for a replacement cable.

  • f. If your pet’s hair is matted, when your blades or attachment comb gets clogged with mats, they won’t be able to cut properly and consume more power, reducing the running time.   • g. Over time, it is normal to have a moderate reduction in battery discharge time due to battery ageor use.

The Clipper Will Not Switch On

  • a. Make sure that the clipper is fully charged before each use. It takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge. You will know that the battery is fully charged when the power LEDis steady white. Refer to how to charge.
  • b. The clipper is to be used cordlessly. It will not turn on while being charged. After the clipper is fully charged, unplug the clipper before switching it on.

There Is No Speed Difference Between Modes

2. Turn the sliding switch to the 2 position to switch to Turbo mode.
3. Press the SMART button in either Quiet or Turbo mode to switch to Smart mode. Press the SMART button when in Smart mode to exit Smart mode and return to the previous mode.
  • b. The Smart mode automatically adjusts speed only upon detecting the hair condition of the current clipping area. The speed under Smart mode may have no difference to Quiet mode if the clipper is not actually clipping.

The RESET LED Flashes In Red

  • a. The clipper intelligently keeps track of your blade service life. If the RESET LED flashes in red, it indicates the blades have run out of life and should be replaced.
  • b. After replacing the blades, press and hold the RESET button at the bottom of the clipper handle for 5 seconds to reset the blade life monitoring function. The LED will go off after it is successfully reset.

How To Turn The Auxiliary Light On Or Off?

Make sure that the clipper is powered on and briefly press the RESET button at the bottom of the clipper handle to turn the light on or off.

How To Charge The Clipper?

  • a. Connect to a USB port using the cable included in the box. If using a USB adapter to connect to the power outlet, make sure that the adapter is 5V/1A. ( Note : Check whether the charging cable is not plugged in properly. The cable must be fully inserted. If the cable is inserted halfway, the clipper will not charge.
  • b. It takes about 3-4 hours to fully charge. You will know that battery is fully charged when the battery icon on the display is steady white.
  • c. The clipper will not turn on while being charged.
    During charging, the power LED will flash on and off, and the speed LEDs will show the battery level in real-time .

Battery is getting low and needs charging when the power LED is steady red.

The remaining operation time (minutes) is displayed in real-time according to the battery power and current clipping speed.

How To Remove The Blades?

  • a. To remove the blades, with the clipper off, press the blades where they are attached to the plastic base with your thumb and push the blades backward firmly. To avoid causing damage to the blades from falling, take care to hold the blades with your hands when removing them.

  • b. Handle with care and be gentle to avoid causing injury to yourself. Be careful not to allow the blades to hit metal and other hard objects, otherwise it may lead to blade damage.

How To Install The Blades?

  • a. To install the blades, with the clipper off, align the blades with the slot on the back of the clipper’s body, and then push it into the body.

  • b. Handle with care and be gentle to avoid causing injury to yourself. Be careful not to allow the blades to hit metal and other hard objects, otherwise it may lead to blade damage.

How To Clean The Blades?

Excess hair and dirt may accumulate between the blades. After removing the blades with the clipper off, you can and clean the hair away with the cleaning brush included in the box or a worn out toothbrush. Do not use water to clean the blades.

How To Oil The Blades?

  • a. Oil the blades before, during, and after each use.
  • b. To oil the blades, turn on the clipper in Quiet mode, and place a few drops of oil on the front and each side of the blades. Leave the clipper running for a couple of seconds for the oil to penetrate evenly between the blades. Then turn off the clipper and wipe excess oil off blades with a soft dry cloth.
  • c. Use clippers-dedicated oil. Do not use hair oil, grease, or any oil mixed with kerosene or other solvents at any time.

How To Cool Down The Blades?

  • a. If the blades are not adequately lubricated, the blade temperature will rise rapidly. Please oil the blades as needed.
  • b. If the temperature gets too high, you can switch off the clipper and place it in a cool and ventilated place for 5 minutes. If there are replacement blades at hand, you can also replace the blades to continue clipping.

When And How To Replace The Blades?

  • a. Replace the blades if they are broken or have reached the end of their service life (when the RESET LED flashes in red). Do not use the clipper with a damaged or broken attachment comb nor with teeth missing from the blades as injury may occur.
  • b. After replacing the blades, press and hold the RESET button at the bottom of the clipper handle for 5 seconds to reset the blade life monitoring function.
