From NTG 5 you get the Sound over the original USB port of the vehicle,
connect the USB cable (No.5) to the original USB port.
- In the original NTG menu: Select USB as sound source
- Connect the 3.5mm Aux connector to the USB to Aux adapter and plug it into the original USB port of your vehicle.
1.4) Fiber Optic (Optional)
Only for vehicles with SoundSystem! If the
drive train has fiber optic cables (2 orange cables in the picture), remove
them and plug them into the new connector that plugs into the back of the
original radio as shown in the picture.
Settings
2.1) General Settings
- here you can change the language
- here you can choose which app should be used as default navi app
- here you can select the default Youtube app
2.2) Camera Settings
Select Camera in Setup Menu, here you can set
- Original or Retrofit Backup Camera
- Rear Camera Parking Lines
- Backup Cam Picture Mirroring
- Rear Camera type
- Camera Switch Time lapse
2.3) Time settings
By default, the system is set up to have a data connection and receives the
time from the network If you use the system without an Internet connection, it
is advisable to change the time and date settings, otherwise the time will be
reset each time the device is restarted. Open
Android settings
- Deactivate Automatic Date and Time and Automatic Time zone
- Select time zone and set your region then you can set time and date manually
Optional settings
3.1) Full screen in NTG menu
You can set whether you want the NTG menu to be displayed in Full Screen or
Half Screen 3.2) Activate navigation
announcements
Please tap NTG Settings and then ENABLISH Force switch to Small Speaker.
Thus the announcements are announced. 3.3)
Quality of navigation announcements
If you are not satisfied with the quality of the
announcements or if there are other problems, please do this.
Open the settings under Volume, find the area Android Navi Volume…
Decrease the value, for example, between 5-10
3.4 Clock display for ML &GL TXH – models
To display the clock on the aperture, activate “Clock switch” under NTG Settings. Under “Clock settings” you can select what should be displayed.

- OPEN Z LINK APP IN MAIN MENU (ICON CAN BE DIFFERENT)
- CONNECT YOUR SMARTPHONE VIA USB
- CARPLAY /ANDROIDAUTO WILL START AUTOMATICLY
4.1) Wireless Carplay & AndroidAuto für IOS
- Open ZLINK APP
- Turn On Phone Wifi
- Turn On phone Bluetooth and connect with Android Display
- Please be Sure that you are NOT connected with Factory System
