Manual
Standard Installation
-
Lay carrier fitting on the floor, waste line barrel down. See Figure 1.

Place faceplate gasket from trim kit on fitting. Align the gasket holes with the tapped holes in the fitting ensuring that the gasket is oriented properly with the fitting flange. See Figure 2.

Remove the faceplate from the trim kit box and align the faceplate slots with the gasket and fitting holes. Secure the (4) ½[13] bolts, from 669553869 hardware bag, tighten down bolts untill they are snug. Bolts will be torqued down in Step 4. See Figure 3.
a. The rough-in height is pre-set, 5 ½[140] or 7 ½[191], and cannot be adjusted. -
Standing the assembly upright, loosen the faceplate bolts to adjust the waste line height and pitch as required. Re-secure bolts using a torque wrench (25-35 lb-ft of torque).
a. For fitting in the highest position, see Figure 4a.
b. For fitting in the lowest position, see Figure 4b.

Rear anchor is not required for standard installation if the foot anchor holes are lagged down to the concrete. Note: See page 5 for angle iron bank installation

Align the carrier with the waste line. Drill holes and install concrete anchors per manufacturer’s instructions. See Figure 5. Lag down feet using 1/2[13] anchors.

Using the o-ring seal and lubricant bag, ensure the o-ring and coupling threads are well lubricated. Insert the o-ring, ensuring it does not twist. See Figure 6.

Coupling Installation
a. Standard, -CS, and –CC Couplings: Thread the coupling into the faceplate by hand until it engages the o-ring and begins to resist. Using a coupling wrench (Z1200-CPLG-WRNCH-3 purchased separately), continue to turn the coupling into the o-ring to create a water-tight seal. See Figure 7a.
b. Adjust the coupling to extend 5/16” from the finished wall (see Figure 10a). Ensure the coupling threads are protected from debris adhesion to allow adjustment after the wall is in place. If the coupling must be shortened, cut from the threaded end. Prevent damage to the oring by chamfering the cut end and thoroughly deburring.
c. EZ-SetTM Coupling: Thread the coupling clockwise into the faceplate by hand until it engages the o-ring and begins to resist. Using a strap or pipe wrench, continue to turn the coupling into the o-ring to create a water-tight seal. Ensure the protective sleeve is flush with the test cap, See Figure 7b.

Prep for finished wall. Fasten the (4) threaded rods from the finish bag into the faceplate, using the (4) jam nuts to tighten the studs down. Each rod extends 5/8 [16] past the closet bowl flange (see Figure 8a).
a. Note: If the studs are too long they will bottom out in the finishing cap nut, preventing proper gasket compression which may result in leakage. -
Slide plastic stud protectors onto the threaded rods. See **Figure 9.

Perform pressure test per local code requirements.

Finished wall should be installed. Ensure appropriate size opening is made for coupling. See Figure 10a.
a. Note: For EZ-Set Coupling hole sizing. See Figure 10b.

Finished Coupling Preparation:
a. Standard, -CS, and -CC Couplings: Remove the protective sleeve. Ensure coupling extends 5/16 [8] from finished wall (see Figure 10a). Knock out the test cap with a hammer and deburr sharp edges. See Figure 11a.
b. EZ-Set Coupling: Remove the protective sleeve. Hang the EZCUTGUIDE (purchased separately) (see Figure 11b).
Using an oscillating multi-tool with flush cut blade (see Figure 11c), remove the test cap and excess coupling length. Deburr sharp edges.
i. Remove EZCUTGUIDE.
ii. Prep the coupling end and flange, following the PVC Cement manufacturer’s instructions. Glue flange to pipe with “TOP” properly aligned. See Figure 11d.

Thread a backing nut and bearing washer on to each 5/8 [16] rod. Adjust hardware so that the front surface of each flat washer is 1/16 [2] in front of the finished wall (see Figure 12). All bearing washers must be on the same plane to support the fixture and prevent cracking.

Peel off the removable backing from one-side of the Neo-Seal Gasket and seat into the groove of the water closet outlet horn. See Figure 13.

Peel off removable backing liner from the opposite side of the gasket and hang the water closet onto the threaded rods. Ensure NeoSeal Gasket seals to the coupling. See Figure 14.

Assemble a fiber washer and cap nut onto each rod and hand tighten. Secure closet with an additional half-turn using a wrench on each nut to complete the installation. See Figure 15.
a. Note: The closet should not make contact with the finished wall.
Strut Bank Installation
Note: For infinite analog adjustment, strut with
1.125 [29] slot 2 [51] on center will be required. It is recommended that 1-5/8 [41] x 1 -5/8 [41] minimum strut channel size is used when banking.
- Place the required length of strut channel on top the faceplate shoulders.
- Using 3/8-16 [10] bolts and 3/8 [10] washers with a minimum OD of 31/32 [25] found in hardware bag 669553869, secure the strut channel with one bolt to each of the shoulders. Secure bolts using a torque wrench (15-20 lb-ft of torque). See Figure 16.
Angle Iron Bank Installation

Set faceplate into angle iron. Drill two corresponding holes for 3/8-16 hardware to mount angle iron to front of faceplate. Torque 3/8-16 bolts to faceplate with 25-35 ft/lbs.

With the assembly positioned upright, secure the anchor stabilizer to the fitting using the anchor foot assembly instructions and hardware provided. Ensure the anchor foot sits level on the floor and nuts are tightened for each carrier. See Figure 17.
a. NOTE: REAR ANCHOR IS REQUIRED WHEN INSTALLING WITH ANGLE IRON. -
Using the proper concrete drilling and strut channel method, drill and tap holes through the feet holes as seen in Figure 18. Lag down the feet and rear anchor using 1/2 [13] anchors as seen in Figure 19.
a. NOTE: PLACE A SHIM TO FULLY SUPPORT THE FOOT DURING 2X2 ANGLE IRON INSTALL IS REQUIRED.
