-
Remove the front cover of the device. To do so, press firmly on the front cover with both thumbs and slide downwards (away from the lid)
-
Note: Please be sure to use the correct Sim card size for this device, which is a Micro Sim.
This is not the smallest sim (nano), nor is it the largest (mini). It is the middle-sized sim of the 3 options. -
Now place your Sim Card into your dongle.
-
Please also be sure that the Sim Card is inserted the correct way round. A small icon is shown on the main body of the dongle to show you which way round the small cut-out/notch of your sim should be facing.
-
Now Plug your dongle into your computer/laptop/tablet. The dongle should then automatically open the dongle’s Admin Page. If you are prompted by your computer to install the “VF QuickStart” modem software, please do so.
-
If the dongle does not automatically open the admin page, navigate to it manually by typing the following web address into the search bar of your browser: vodafonemobile. vmb and pressing enter/go. You will then see the Admin Page of the dongle which looks like this:

-
Click on Manual, then Add New
-
From the PDP Type dropdown, select: IPv4v6
-
Now enter the APN Settings for your Mobile Network (provided by email) and click Apply
-
Once you click Apply, you will see a message pop up saying: Success.
-
Now click the button named: Set as Default
-
You will again see the: Success message appear.
