Mama Guinea Pig Care

Feeding
To feed Mama Guinea Pig, gently push the tip of the Celery accessory into her mouth. P etting Pet her on the top of her head.
Tip: You can also brush her hair using the Hair Brush.

Hatch Playset

Battery Compartment

 Located under the lock access door.

Indicator Light

 A light that shows through a window on the door.

Food Door

 Allows placement of the food accessory.

Straw Bedding

 Place for the baby guinea pigs to rest.

‘Normal Mode’ and ‘Fast Mode’

Select the desired hatching speed for your babies:

  • Normal Mode:  1 to 25 minutes.
  • Fast Mode:  10 minutes.

Caring for Mama Guinea Pig
Care for Mama Guinea Pig and she will eventually have babies! This can be done in 2 ways:

  • Feeding: To feed Mama Guinea Pig, gently push the tip of the Celery accessory into her mouth.
  • Petting: Pet her on the top of her head.

Ready Mode

If you pet and feed her enough, Mama Guinea Pig enters ‘Ready’ mode, where she will make a unique noise. The indicator light will also flash to indicate it’s time to return to the Hatch Playset.

Placing Mama in Hatch

  1. Place Mama Guinea Pig in a standing position inside the Hatch.
  2. Ensure the Food Door and both Doors are completely closed.

Note: Do not lay Mama Guinea Pig on her side or back. Ensure she is centered by the food door. Place her in the center of the Hatch Playset.

Reload Hatch Playset
You can play the creation process again by reloading the Babies into the Hatch Playset.

  1. Open the cover lock access door.
  2. Turn the dial 90° clockwise to unlock.
  3. Lift the cover up.
  4. Place the BABY GUINEA PIGS in, as shown.
  5. Note: Please carefully follow diagram for proper baby Guinea Pig’s Baby Guineas should be placed in front of the Baby Guinea Eggs in each chamber.

Troubleshooting

Hatch mechanism continues after all Babies have been created.
Simply turn her OFF using the switch on Mama’s belly and then back ON to reset.Function does not match instructions or sound selection of play.
Refer to the troubleshooting section of the instruction manual for specific timing of each baby by NORMAL MODE or FAST MODE.
