Product Usage Instructions

1. Pre-Installation Preparation

Before beginning the installation process, please ensure you have read the instructions and viewed the illustrations provided in the user manual.

2. Windshield Installation

Note: SuperATV does not recommend keeping the Windshield installed while transporting on an open air trailer.

2.1 Full and Half Windshields

  1. Test Fit: Before removing the protective film, perform a test fit of the Windshield to confirm proper fitment onto the cage.
  2. Remove Protective Film: If the Windshield fits correctly, you can proceed with the installation. Carefully remove the protective film from the Windshield.
  3. Cleaning: Clean the Windshield using a mild detergent or hand washing soap mixed with water. Alternatively, you can use isopropyl alcohol for cleaning purposes.
  4. Drying: To prevent water spots, use a chamois cloth to blot the Windshield dry.

2.2 Banded Clamps Assembly

If your Windshield includes banded clamps, follow these steps for assembly:

  1. Assemble: Assemble the banded clamps as shown in the illustrations.
  2. Nut Clamp: Place the nut clamp over the bolt.
  3. Washer: Slide the washer onto the bolt.
  4. Bolt: Insert the bolt through the grommet and secure it with the nut clamp.
  5. Grommet: Prior to installing the grommet into the Windshield, soak it in soapy water to increase flexibility.

2.3 Seal Installation

To install the seal at the bottom edge of the Windshield, follow these steps:

  1. Soak Seal: To ease installation, soak the seal in hot water. This will increase its flexibility.
  2. Cutting: Cut the seal according to the required length.
  3. Insert Mount Clamps: Insert the mount clamps into the designated slots in the Windshield.
  4. Wrap Straps: Wrap the straps around the cage and through the mount clamps to secure the Windshield.
  5. Ensure Seal Contact: Make sure the seal is in contact with the hood (driver side).

Parts

Some Windshields may have banded Clamps. Assemble as shown.

Windshield Cleaning

  • Do not use Rain-X®, Plexus® or any other protector, wax, or polish.
  • Do not use window cleaning fluids (Windex, 409, etc) or any solvents (gasoline, denatured alcohol, acetone, etc).
  • Never use abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or gritty cloths.
  • Do not use a windshield wiper blade or install a motorized windshield wiper
  • Never use razor blades, scrapers, squeegees, brushes, etc.
  • Keep the pressure washer nozzle a minimum of 8” away from Screen Printed Windshields.
  1. Thoroughly rinse the Windshield to float off dirt and mud.
  2. Using a soft cloth, or microfiber cloth, clean the Windshield with warm water and a gentle detergent. Baby shampoo, rubbing alcohol, or hand washing soap can also be used.
  3. To prevent water spots, use a chamois to blot Windshield dry.

Installation

SuperATV®, nor any 3rd party, will not be held responsible for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages that result from any product purchased from SuperATV®. The total liability of seller to user for all damages, losses, and causes ofaction, if any, shall not exceed the total purchase price paid for the product that gave rise to the claim. SuperATV® will warranty only parts provided by SuperATV®. Any damage or problems with OEM housings, bearings, seals, or other manufacturers’ products will not be covered by SuperATV®. SuperATV® parts and products are not warrantied if item was not installed properly, misused, or modified. Installing, adding, modifying, or fabricating any factory or aftermarket product to your ATV/UTVmay violate certain local, state, and federal laws. Be advised that laws vary depending on town, city, county, state, etc. Use of certain products on public streets, roads, or highways may be in violation law. The Buyer is solely and exclusively legally and personally responsible for any violation of the law by the installation or use of the product. You must abide by all local, state, and federal laws, including but not limited to vehicle safety, traffic laws, and ordinances. It is your responsibility to know the laws and how they apply to you.  The Buyer is responsible to fully understanding the capability and limitations of his/her vehicle according to manufacturer specifications, warnings and instructions and agrees to hold SuperATV® harmless from any damage resulting from failure to adhere to such specifications, warnings and/ or instructions. The Buyer is also responsible to obey all applicable federal, state, and local laws and ordinances when operating his/her vehicle while using this product, and the Buyer agrees to hold SuperATV® harmless from any violation thereof.
