Product Usage Instructions

Installation Instructions:

  1. SuperATV does not recommend keeping the windshield installed while transporting on an open-air trailer. Remove or secure with straps.
  2. This item is not returnable if the protective film has been removed.
  3. Test fit the windshield to the cage to confirm fitment before removing the film.
  4. Do not discard the packaging until the product has been successfully installed.

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  1. Clean the windshield using a mild detergent, such as dish soap, mixed with water. Alternatively, alcohol or hand washing soap can also be used.
  2. Rinse the windshield thoroughly with clean water.
  3. To prevent water spots, use a chamois to blot the windshield dry.

Assembly Instructions:

Step 1: Install Foam to Channel Brackets:

  1. Attach the foam to the channel brackets in the location shown. Set aside.

Step 2: Install Bulb Seal:

  1. To ease installation, soak the bulb seal in hot water before cutting or installing to increase flexibility.
  2. Install one continuous piece of bulb seal with the bulb portion facing towards the vehicle.

Step 3: Install Channel Brackets to Windshield:

  1. Attach the channel brackets to the windshield using the provided hardware. Do not tighten the hardware.
  2. Use 12 M6 x 25mm bolts, sealing washers, and nuts for this step.
  3. Ensure that the rubber faces the plastic when installing the sealing washers.

Step 4: Install Foam to Cage:

  1. Remove the stock hardware shown.
  2. Install the foam to the cage in the locations shown.

Step 5: Install Top Brackets:

  1. Install the top brackets to the frame using the stock hardware.
  2. Tighten the hardware securely.

Step 6: Secure Windshield:

  1. Secure the windshield to the top brackets using the provided hardware.
  2. Use 4 M6 x 25mm bolts, sealing washers, and nuts for this step.
  3. Tighten all hardware securely.
  4. Ensure that the rubber faces the plastic when installing the sealing washers.
  5. The channel brackets should be in the position shown.

Windshield Cleaning:

  • Do not use Rain-X®, Plexus® or any other protector, wax, or polish.
  • Do not use window cleaning fluids (Windex, 409, etc) or any solvents (gasoline, denatured alcohol, acetone, etc).
  • Never use abrasive cleaners, abrasive pads, or gritty cloths.
  • Do not use a windshield wiper blade or install a motorized windshield wiper
  • Never use razor blades, scrapers, squeegees, brushes, etc.
  1. Thoroughly rinse Windshield to float off dirt and mud.
  2. Using a soft cloth, or microfiber cloth, clean Windshield with warm water and a gentle detergent. Baby shampoo, rubbing alcohol, or hand washing soap can also be used.
  3. To prevent water spots, use a chamois to blot Windshield dry.
