SAFETY & WARNINGS

• Use this device only in accordance with these instructions and for its intended purpose.
• Keep this device away from children or persons with impaired physical or mental capabilities when using dangerous or heated cleaning fluid.
• Only use with a stable and compatible power source. In case of power loss during operation, unplug this product until power has been restored.
• Do not move this device by pulling on its power adapter.
• Disconnect this device from its power source before adding or draining any fluid.
• Do not allow this device to run dry or with excessive fluid. Keep the height of the fluid’s surface between 1.5 cm and the recommended maximum height mark inside the tank.
• DO NOT use volatile solvents with low boiling points. Ultrasonic waves can cause them to heat up and release fumes.
• DO NOT Use this device around flammable, explosive or corrosive objects or fumes.
• DO NOT get any electrical components wet or operate them with wet hands.
• DO NOT leave this device unattended, remove its lid or place any body part in the tank if using dangerous or heated cleaning fluid.
• Allow time for heated fluid to cool before removing items from the tank after use.
• Always disconnect this device from its power source before any cleaning, maintenance or repair.
• If this product malfunctions or shows any signs of damage, cease use immediately and contact help.Kogan.com for support.
• Always have damaged components repaired or replaced before further use. Do not use any replacement parts that have not been recommended by Kogan.com.
• Ultrasonic cleaning is not recommended for porous items like corals or gemstones like pearls, emeralds and opals.
• DO NOT use any fluids which can damage the stainless-steel surface of the tank, such as strong acids or bases.
• It is recommended to use deionized, demineralized or distilled water to avoid harmful impurities.
• DO NOT drop items or place them directly into the tank as this may damage the transducer during use. Always deposit items into the tank gently. For best results, use a mesh basket or other stainless container to hold them.
• DO NOT operate this device for more than 15 minutes continuously.
• ALWAYS remove all items from the tank before pouring out used fluid after use.

OPERATION

Cavitation Effect

Ultrasonic cleaning takes advantage of cavitation effect created by high- frequency vibrations in a liquid medium. This cavitation effect creates micro bubbles that implode and then burst rapidly with great force. These bursting micro bubbles create a scrubbing action which can clean even the hardest to reach areas very effectively.

1. Remove the lid from the ultrasonic cleaner and fill the tank with the preheated water taking care not to exceed the recommended maximum height mark.
2. To avoid damage to the tank during use, place the items to be cleaned into it gently. It is highly recommended to use a mesh basket or another durable container to avoid direct contact with the tank and to allow each item to be surrounded by the cleaning fluid. Note: Do not overlap items during placement.
3. Place your container in the tank, ensuring your items are fully submerged. Replace the lid.
4. Connect the device to an electrical outlet using the provided power adapter.
5. Press the oscillation button. The device will vibrate and begin cleaning.
6. The device will stop ultrasonic cleaning automatically after 3 minutes. To stop it immediately, press the oscillation button again.
7. When finished, disconnect the device from the outlet. If necessary, allow time for heated fluid to cool.
8. Remove the lid and take all items out of the tank. Using clean water, rinse away any remaining detergent from their surfaces.
9. Hold the device tightly and drain the fluid.
10. Rinse away any remaining detergent from the surface of the tank with clean water if needed.
11. Use the cloth to dry the exterior of the cleaned items, their container and the tank or allow time for these items to air dry.

CLEANING & CARE

• Turn off and unplug this device prior to any draining, cleaning, maintenance or repair.
• Replace the cleaning fluid between uses.
• Check all parts of this device for any wear or damage after use. Replace any damaged parts before further use.
• If this device will not be used for an extended period, unplug, drain it and allow it to fully dry before storing in a cool, dry and clean place.
