SAFETY & WARNINGS

  • Read all instructions before using the appliance and retain for reference.
  • Unplug the monitor before cleaning it.
  • Use a clean, slightly dampened cloth to wipe the monitor casing.
  • To clean the screen, turn the monitor off, unplug it and wait for it to cool completely. Then, wipe it with a dry micro-fibre cloth.
  • Do not use cleaning alcohol, ammonia-based liquids or other harsh cleaners.
  • Do not cover or block the ventilation holes in the monitor casing.
  • Do not insert any object or spray any liquid into the vents.
  • Do not place the monitor near heaters, stoves, fireplaces or other sources of heat, as well as in rooms lacking adequate ventilation.
  • Do not position the monitor in unsafe locations. If the monitor falls, it may be damaged and may injure nearby people.
  • Unplug the monitor if it is not going to be used for an extended period.
  • Do not place heavy objects on the monitor, its power cord or any connected cable.
  • Do not open the back panel of the monitor, as it contains a high-voltage current even when not plugged in.

Power button

| Power| a. Press and hold the power button for 6 seconds to turn the monitor on/ off.
b. When the monitor is on, press the power button to wake up the main menu.
C. Use the “directional key” to select the items to be adjusted in the main menu. After selecting the items, press the power button to adjust.
d. Press the power button again to save and return to the main menu.

ASSEMBLY

Stand Assembly

WARNING: The panel of the monitor is fragile. Keep the foam underneath the monitor screen while assembling the stand.

  1. Carefully remove the monitor, stand connector and stand base from the box.

  2. Attach the stand base to the stand connector using the 2 supplied stand base screws (M4 x 10mm).

  3. Insert the stand assembly into the monitor and push down until firmly connected.

  4. Lift the monitor up straight and remove the protective foam. Stand the monitor up on the installed stand base.

Note: VESA mount and mounting accessories are not included.

  1. Open the box, take out the monitor with protection foam attached and gently place it on a desktop or table. Ensure all components are removed from the protective foam.
    If the monitor is already attached to the stand, remove the stand by pressing the release tab and pulling the stand away from the monitor.

  2. Assemble the mount as per the instructions provided with the mount.

CONNECTIVITY

Power Cable
Connect the included power adapter to the monitor power port, then connect the other end to a power outlet.

Audio Out
Connect an audio output device (speakers, headphones etc.) to the audio port on the monitor. The monitor may need to be set as the PC’s default sound output device.

HDMI
Connect an HDMI cable from the computer’s HDMI port to one of the monitor’s HDMI ports.

Display Port

Connect the provided DP cable from the computer’s DisplayPort to the monitor’s DisplayPort.

OPERATION

  1. Connect the monitor to the input device via HDMI/ DisplayPort.
  2. Connect the power adapter to the monitor and then connect the other end directly to a power socket.
  3. Use the power button to turn the monitor on.

Free Sync

  • Ensure your computer has Free Sync capability and the graphics drivers are fully up to date.

  • After connecting, you will receive a prompt to enable Free Sync on your computer.
    If you do not receive the prompt, you may need to enable Free Sync in your graphics card menu.

  • See your graphics card manufacturer’s documentation for instructions on how to enable Free Sync.

Selecting an Input
Press the power button to the right to open the input source window. Select the desired input or select Auto Select and press the power button to save and return.

On-Screen Display (OSD)

  1. The On-Screen Display (OSD) menu may be used to adjust your monitor’s settings.
    It appears on the screen after turning on the monitor and pressing the power button.

  2. When using the monitor for the first time, it will configure optimal settings automatically.

  3. Press the power button to open the OSD menu.

  4. Use the directional button to highlight the desired setting and press the power button to select it.

  5. Use the direction button to adjust the settings and press the power button again to save and return to the previous menu.

Picture Modes
Press the power button to the left to switch the picture modes. These modes include ECO, Standard, Text, Movie, Game, FPS, RTS sRGB and can be used to optimise settings according to your activity. Standard mode is suitable for most activities.
