Placement of Transmitter Base
For best results, place the Transmitter Base on top of your TV stand, or on top of your TV, as shown below.
Battery Charging
Place the receiver on the base (as shown) for charging for 6+ hours before first use. During charging, the Low Battery/Charge indicator blinks. When it is fully charged, the indicator light will stop blinking and stay steadily lit. A fully charged battery will give you up to 8 hours of listening time.
When the receiver is not in use or when the Low Battery indicator blinks, place the receiver on the base for recharging.
OPERATION
On/Off, Volume and Tone Control
-
Rotate the knob to turn receiver On or Off and to adjust its volume.
-
You can turn your TV speaker to Low or to Off.
On some TVs, you may need to use your remote to go into the TV’s Menu to achieve an optimal audio/speaker setting. Please refer to your TV user manual for details. -
To conserve battery power, the receiver will shift into standby mode if no audio signal is received from the base (after your TV is turned off) for a period longer than three minutes. The volume ON/OFF indicator will be off during this standby time. When audio signal is received, the receiver will re-activate. NOTE: If the receiver has hibernated too long and missed the contacts with the base, rotate the knob, turn off the receiver and then turn the receiver back on again to re-sync with the base.
-
Set the Tone Control to a position that enables you to hear and understand the dialog best.
Pairing Additional Receivers
You can add up to 50 receivers to work with your base. Each added receiver, must be “paired” with the base as follows:
- Make sure your new receiver is fully charged.
- Make sure your current base and receiver is working properly and audio is playing on the receiver.
- Continue the audio playing to the base and receiver.
Pairing Additional Receivers (continued)
- Turn the new receiver ON.
- Press and hold (about 5 seconds) the PAIRING button on the bottom of the receiver until the ON/OFF indicator starts blinking. Pairing period is approximately 20 seconds.
- Press and hold (about 3 seconds) the PAIRING button on the back of the base until the power indicator starts blinking. It will start pairing with the new receiver.
- As soon as pairing is successful (less than 2 seconds), the new receiver’s ON/OFF indicator will stop blinking, and audio sounds will be played within 5 seconds.
- Repeat these steps again if pairing is not successful.
Using Headphones
Plug your headphones into the headphone jack as shown. No sound will be emitted from the speakers. Adjust the headphone volume by rotating the volume knob.
TROUBLESHOOTING
No sound from the receiver
Check all connections to ensure that all the cords are firmly connected at the back of the base and TV. Also, confirm that the receiver is not more than 100 feet away from the base.
There is sound from the TV speaker, but no sound from the receiver
Check your TV speaker setting by going into the
TV Menu, using your TV remote and ensuring the
TV is sending audio signals to the base.
The Low Battery/Charging indicator keeps blinking on the receiver
This indicates that the battery is low and needs to be placed on the base for recharging. When fully charged, the blinking will stop (in about 3 hours).
If the blinking does not stop, check to make sure the receiver is firmly connected and properly aligned to the base.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Unplug the AC Adapter from the wall. Then, use a dry, soft cloth to clean and dust the outside surfaces and the charging contacts on the Base. Do not immerse the Receiver in water.

Yes. There is a wall plug that goes to the base when not in use you just place the unit on the base. A red light flashes while charging. Great product!
I bought this speaker for my mother based on the great reviews here, but after i connected it to her Toshiba 32″ tv, i get no sound at all.
Make sure it is connected to the Audio OUTPUT jack of the TV and that the “Audio Settings” on the TV enabled the External Speakers to play ( They vary from every model or make and at times disabled by default )
How do you connect this to a Samsung smart tv that doesn’t have headphones jack or red and white plugins? Can you use a headphone to USB adapter?
I have the same question. I cannot find an audio out jack on my Samsung smart tv.
How can i get this to work with roku on my tv?
When correctly connected to the audio of your TV, the PYLE unit extends the audio of the TV and anything (like ROKU) connected (or built-in) to the TV.
Will it work if the TV volume is turned down?
Yes you may adjust the volume on your tv using the unit.
Extra speaker for another room?
Not sure of the answer to this. The PYLE charger is connected to the tv cable box for the room where my tv is located. I do take the speaker into another TV room that is in close proximity to the charger.
What battery does this have? phpa76bat? other? i bought the ptvsp20bk and the batteries swelled up, quit working and the company is unresponsive!
The unit is using Lithium-iOn, 3.7V 1000mAh Battery. We can provide the part/s that is available in our warehouse.
Can i use this if i have surround sound hooked up to my tv?
Yes, I think you can. Surround sound sound, typically, is an add-on component connected to the audio output of your TV. Using 2 RCA “Y” splitter connectors, to split the audio from the TV to the surround sound, and connect Pyle Wireless TV Speaker.
Is this speaker blue tooth or rf?
The unit is using an RF signal.
Is there a delay in sound between the tv speakers and the unit, I need both speakers in the same room?

No, it seems to work fine!
Does it have adjustable voice enhancement for someone who doesn’t understand the words?
No it does not have adjustable voice enhancement.
Which ac adapter for this?
The Pyle Wireless TV Speaker comes with a power adapter.
What do you do with static?
Make sure all of your audio plugs are completely seated into the female jacks. If they are not, you will hear static.
Where do I get a Replacement battery? I can’t find one anywhere
Unfortunately, you can’t replace the battery and they don’t sell the speaker separate from the base. I had to buy a whole new set. Otherwise, it meets my needs perfectly.
