WARNING: DISCONNECT POWER AT THE MAIN FUSE BOX BEFORE INSTALLATION.
WARNING: This fixture is intended for installation per the National Electrical Code (NEC) and all local code specifications. If you are not familiar with code requirements, installation by a certified electrician is recommended. Before assembly, remove all parts and part packages from the box. If anything is missing, please contact the retailer from which the product was purchased.

INSTALALTION INSTRUCTION

  1. Carefully pull house wires out of the junction box so they are easily accessible during installation.

  2. Position mounting bracket (A) so threaded ends of attached fixture mounting screws (E) are facing down towards the floor.

  3. Carefully pull house wires through the center hole in the mounting bracket (A). Align small holes in mounting bracket (A) with holes in the junction box.

  4. Thread each junction box screw (B) into holes in the mounting bracket (A) and into holes in the junction box. Tighten junction box screws (B) to secure mounting bracket (A) to the junction box.
CAUTION: Make sure house wires are pulled completely through hole in the mounting bracket. DO NOT pinch wires between the mounting bracket and ceiling.

  5. Rotate arms until arms are evenly spaced apart.

  6. Carefully push fixture wires up through stem (M). Pull fixture wires out of top of stem (M). Pull fixture wires taut. Screw the bottom of the stem (M) onto top of fixture body (O). DO NOT pinch fixture wires between fixture body and stem.

  7. Push fixture wires through the bottom of loop (L). Pull fixture wires taut. Thread loop (L) onto top of stem (M).

  8. Thread the second stem (M) into the second coupling on top of the fixture body (O). Thread the second loop (L) onto top of the second stem (M).

  9. Attach one locking link (G) to each loop (L) on top of each stem (M).

  10. Determine desired hanging height of fixture. Cut chain (H) to length to achieve the desired height. Ensure sections of chain (H) are the same length.

  11. Slip the last chain link at the end of each chain (H) onto the locking link (G) on each loop (L) on top of each stem (M).

  12. Attach one locking link (G) onto end of each section of chain (H).

  13. Weave fixture wires through chain links, skipping every other chain link.

  14. Push fixture wires up through loop on canopy (D). Pull fixture wires up through the canopy (D).

  15. Attach one locking link (G) onto the last chain link on each section of chain (H) and then to each loop on canopy (D).

  16. Strip 3/4” of insulation from ends of fixture wires.

  17. Slightly loosen the ground screw on the mounting bracket (A). Do not completely remove the ground screw. Wrap house ground wire (copper) around the ground screw, leaving enough ground wire to attach to fixture ground wire. Twist end of fixture ground wire and end of the house ground wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference the chart below for correct wire connections.

    • Connect Supply (House) Ground Copper Wire to:
    • Bare Copper Wire or,
    • Bare Silver Wire or,
    • Green Insulated Wire.
  18. Twist end of the house lead wire (black) and end of the fixture lead wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto the ends of wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Twist end of house neutral wire (white) and end of fixture neutral wire together. Twist wire nut (C) onto ends of the wires. Completely tighten wire nut (C). Reference chart to the right for correct wire connections.

  19. Wrap electrical tape (not included) around wire nuts (C) and wires. Ensure wires are securely fastened into wire nuts.

  20. Carefully push all wires and wire nuts into the junction box.
Connect Black Lead Supply (House) Wire to:| Connect White Neutral Supply (House) Wire to:
    ---|---
Black Wire or,| White Wire or,
Parallel Cord (Round and Smooth) or,| Parallel Cord (Square and Ridged) or,
No printed words on wire insulation or,| Printed words on wire insulation or,
    Insulated Wire (other than green)

with Copper Conductor.

| Insulated Wire (other than green)

with Silver Conductor.

*When parallel wire (SPT 1 & SPT 2) is used: The lead wire is round in shape or smooth. The neutral wire is square or ridged.

  1. Carefully raise the fixture up to the ceiling. Place canopy (D) of fixture over mounting bracket (A). Pass holes in canopy (D) over ends of fixture mounting screws (E).
  2. Screw one threaded cap (F) onto the end of each fixture mounting screw (E). Tighten threaded caps (F) to secure the fixture to the ceiling. DO NOT over-tighten.
  3. Screw recommended bulbs (E12 candelabra bulb type, not included) into sockets. Verify the correct bulb wattage marked on the socket of fixture.
WARNING: DO NOT exceed maximum bulb wattage.
