Installation Instructions

1. Find the appropriate threaded holes on the mounting strap [A] that align with the hole distance in the canopy [E]. Thread the mounting screws [D] into the threaded holes starting from the outlet box [B] side.

Attach the mounting strap [A] to the outlet box [B] using the strap mounting screws [C]. The mounting strap can be adjusted to suit the position of the fixture.

Grounding instructions
-
On fixtures where the mounting strap is provided with a hole and two raised dimples
Wrap the ground wire from the outlet box around the green ground screw and thread it into the hole. -
On fixtures where a cupped washer is provided
Attach the ground wire from the outlet box under the cupped washer and green ground screw, and thread it into the mounting strap. -
If the fixture is provided with a ground wire, connect the fixture ground wire to the outlet box ground wire with a wire connector after following the above steps. Never connect the ground wire to black or white power supply wires.
Make wire connections
- Connect the black or red supply wire to the corresponding color on the fixture (black).
- Connect the white supply wire to the corresponding color on the fixture (white).
- Refer to the reference chart below for correct connections

Note : When parallel wires (SPT 1 & SPT 2) are used, the neutral wire is square shaped or ridged, and the other wire will be round in shape or smooth.
Push the fixture to the wall, carefully aligning the mounting screws protruding from the mounting strap with the holes in the canopy.
Important: The fixture can be mounted with the glass shade in the up or down position. Make sure all wires are inside the canopy and do not get pinched between the mounting strap and canopy or wall and canopy of the fixture.
- Slip lock washers [G] over the threads protruding through the holes in the canopy (2 places).
- Screw knobs [F] onto the threads protruding through the holes in the canopy (2 places) and tighten to secure the fixture to the wall.
- Insert the recommended bulb(s) (not included).
- Carefully pass the opening in the glass shade [H] over the bulb and socket [J]. While holding the socket base cup [I] with one hand, gently press the glass shade against the socket base cup and turn the glass shade clockwise into the socket base cup [I] until it is locked in place. Do not over-tighten.
- Repeat steps 8 and 9 for remaining sockets (if applicable).

CLEANING
- Always be certain that electric current is turned off before cleaning.
- Only a soft damp cloth should be used. Harsh cleaning products may damage the finish.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
