Getting Started
-
Why Does It Print Blank Page?
There may be several reasons for printing blank pages. -
Ensure your labels are “Direct Thermal” labels. Some kind of printer labels namely “Thermal Transfer” labels can not be used on a direct thermal printer. Although they may look similar to each other.
-
The label side that you peel off should be facing up when feeding the labels, please follow the below picture and don’t put it upside down, or the printed
page would be blank. -
It’s possible that the printer didn’t recognize the label size correctly yet. Please press and hold the feeder button on the top for 3 seconds until
you hear one beep then release, the label will automatically move back and forth to complete the ‘intelligent label study’. Then you can start
printing. You may print a print this Sample Label to check.
If none of the solutions can solve your problem, please contact our customer service staff directly, they will try their best to help you! -

-
Insert the USB cable (data cable) fully into the printer USB port, connect another end to the computer’s USB port. Make sure every time it should be inserted into the same port, to avoid creating duplicate copies of the printer in your operating system (find a Type-C adapter if
your interface is Type-C). -

-
The Printer can’t be found/frequently offline on my Mac P
This issue is known for Mac Book Air or Pro Users with only Type-C ports, to ensure stable performance an additional Type-C printer cable is required. (a Type-C to USB2.0/3.0 adapter or Hub is not recommended for label printer because of known issue of unstable data transmission.) -
No response when printing
The most likely reason is that Vevor is connected to a new USB Port. Windows will register Vevor as a “new” printer whenever the USB port changes. Thus when you print to the “old” printer, it simply keeps it in the print queue. This happens so that you can run multiple Vevor printers
from the same computer, each with different label types and settings.
How to fix: Open your Control Panel -> Printers and Devices and note which Vevor Printer is “active.” It may be the Vevor Printer, the Vevor Printer (Copy 1), or the Vevor Printer (Copy 2), etc.Be sure to print to the same active printer name when printing. Alternatively, please unplug and re- plug Vevor into
the same USB port as before and that should restore your printing without further changes.
Troubleshooting
-
My labels are not clear enough
Below are some reasons for poor printing performance:-
The most common reason for low-quality print has to do with a low-quality source file, especially when only parts of your label look faded. High-quality label source files ensure darker prints. A low-quality source file often comes from a screenshot.
-
Margins and page size. Please ensure the content takes up the whole label. If there are extra borders, your design may be “shrunk” printed in a smaller size resulting in faded content.
-
Print density and speed. Within your Vevor printer preferences, you can set your “Density” and “Speed”. The suggested speed value
should be 4, and the density 8. -
Dust or adhesive on the printer head. Please try to clean the printer head.
-
-
How to avoid white spots in my print
There are few reasons cause this problem:- Firstly, It is likely that the printer head has gotten dirty, please clean the printer head.
- Secondly, the label paper is in poor quality, you have to get labels in better quality.
- Thirdly, there is dirt on the label surface, you have to keep the labels well.
-
How to make sure the barcode is printed clearly?
If your barcode is not printing clearly, please check whether the source file was created in ideal quality. Try our sample label which was generated at the correct quality to test it, you can find it from USB Disk. Another way is reducing your print speed (try 3mm/second) and your print density (make it smaller than default) to see if the printing effect is better. -
Why does it skip labels or continuously feed labels?
There are two main reasons:- One is because you change your label type or size. In this case, Vevor does not learn your label, this is the most common reason. In this case, please run the automatic label identification again. When the printer is self-studying the label, disconnect the USB cable from your Vevor printer, avoid sending print commands to the printer.
- Another reason is the sensor that detects the paper is affected by dust, if so, please clean the sensor with the alcohol swap.
-
My label is printed sideways?
The Vevor label printer prints exactly what you see by print preview on the screen, if your printed label looks sideways or has a lot of white space on the label, the most likely reason would be that the label is not properly formatted for 4×6 inches before printing out. You may need to adjust the settings before printing. The default page size selected for Vevor is 4×6 inches (102mm*105mm). If you are not sure about the formats, try to print this Sample Label and see if the issue persists.
If the sample label prints out fine, meaning your printer, computer, driver or labels are working properly, then please check the following:- Check if your shipping platform can provide 4×6 inches in the correct orientation. Please select the right format (4×6 inches) to print. Please check our How-Tos for the most popular platforms on this link.
- It is possible that your label is designed for regular printers (8.5 x 11 size). Crop a full size 8.5″ x 11″ page to a 4″ x 6″ label.
- If your label is 4 x 6 but just comes out sideways or too small, like the following example, you can set up to change orientation
amount Auto, Portrait and Landscape before printing.
-
It keeps printing the same label
When Vevor doesn’t believe a label has been printed correctly, it will attempt to re-print it. If this keeps happening, it is most likely because Vevor hasn’t learned your label’s properties. This is usually followed by a blinking red light-
Please turn Vevor off using the black switch behind the printer and turn it back on. This clears any pending print jobs.
-
Ensure you have several labels available behind Vevor and one label loaded for Aobio to print.
-
Please press and hold the top button until you hear a beep, then let go. This starts the automatic label identification and you should see
your label moving back and forth and stopping at the correct tear-off point. -
When you see a green light, try your print and it should print perfectly moving forward.
-
-
Spark occurs when inserting power port
Please ensure you turn off Vevor using the power switch on the back of the printer before connecting or disconnecting the power cable. Connecting the power cable while the switch is in ‘ON’ position can produce a spark. If it continue to spark, please check the ground connection of your power outlet or try a different outlet. -
Will the print fade by time?
The printing will last for different time owing to different quality of the thermal labels, its printing effect can last more than one year.

You may need to do some trial and error to find the perfect combination. You may enter both negative and positive values here.Click on “Apply” or “OK” to send these settings to the printer for your next printing. -
How to clean the printer head?

- Turn off the printer, remove the power cord, and push the blue buttons on both sides at the same time to open the cover;
- Wait for 3 minutes until the printer head cools down. The printer may be very hot after printing;
