Device Description

Front Side / CO2 Traffic Light
The front side of the PCE-AC 2000 CO2 Analyser features a CO2 traffic light system that provides visual indications based on the CO2 levels detected:

  • CO2 Good / Green: 0 – 599 ppm CO2
  • CO2 OK / Yellow: 600 – 1199 ppm CO2
  • CO2 Poor / Red: 1200 – 9999 ppm CO2

Operation

Power On CO2 Analyser
To power on the PCE-AC 2000 CO2 Analyser, follow these steps:

  1. Ensure the device is connected to a power source or has a charged battery.
  2. Press the power button located on the device.
  3. The device will start up and display the current CO2 level.

Switch Unit

Set Alarm

Operation

  1. Power on CO2 analyser
    As soon as you connect the mains adaptor to the CO2 analyser via the plug socket, the analyser will power on. The initialisation time is 7 seconds. The meter displays a countdown. After the time has elapsed, the unit is ready for operation.

  2. Switch unit
    Press the °C/°F key to switch the unit for the temperature between °C and °F.

  3. Set alarm
    Press the mode key to set the alarm. Use the arrow keys to adjust the alarm value up or down. Once the desired value has been set, press the mode key to save the setting.
    Note: An alarm value of 1200 ppm is set at the factory.

Disposal

  • For the disposal of batteries in the EU, the 2006/66/EC directive of the European Parliament applies. Due to the contained pollutants, batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. They must be given to collection points designed for that purpose.
