APRVTIO ACS-50A Digital Refrigerant Scale

Introduction

Digital refrigerant scales utilize the most technologically advanced refrigerant meter today and are ideal for HV-AC and refrigeration systems. The weight can be measured in standard or metric units. The units have a built-in alarm to indicate the measurement has been exceeded.

  • : power indication
  • : minus sign indicates weight removed.
  • ZERO: ZERO display
  • OZ: OZ.Mode
  • KG : Kg.Mode
  • LB: Lb.Mode
  • “ON/OFF”: press to turn on the scale; press to turn the scale off.
  • “Z/T” : Press to zero out the current reading on display.
  • “UNIT” : Press to switch between “Kg”, “Oz” and “Lbs”.
  • “LAMP” : Press to light the backlight. Press again to turn off the backlight.

Quick start

  1. Install 1*6LR61 9V battery in the hand-held device.
  2. Place the weighing platform on a firm and level surface.
  3. Press the “POWER” button on the hand-held device.
  4. Press “UNIT” to select the proper unit.
  5. Press “ZERO” to zero(tare) the scale.
  6. Place the object to be weighed until the scale keeps stable. Read the LCD.
  7. Press the Lamp button to activate the backlight, and press the lamp button again to deactivate the backlight.

Functions

Weighing operation

  1. Set up the unit as described in steps 1 -5 under the Set Up heading.
  2. Press the   button to clear the unit. Ensure to start the unit at 0.
  3. Place the cylinder in the center of the platform.
  4. Start the charging or recovery operation by opening the cylinder and manifold and gauge set valves.
  5. When the operation is completed, close the cylinder and manifold and gauge set valves.
  6. Remove the cylinder from the platform and press the button to deactivate the unit.

Over range indication

NOTE: The unit has an Over Range Indicator which displays “FULL” when the weight of the cylinder exceeds the maximum capacity of the unit. To prevent damage to the unit, immediately remove the cylinder from the platform if the display states “FULL”.

To prevent damage to the scale and sensor, please do not place objects over 100 kg on the scale platform.

Safety notice

  1. Please use the scale in a specified environment to avoid errors or damage to the sensor.
  2. Please do not use chemical solvents or corrosive liquids to clean the scale.
  3. Please do not disassemble the scale body and inner device; otherwise, it may cause a great weighing error.
  4. Please do not pull the spiral line hard in case the measuring error is enlarged or the sensor is damaged.
  5. Remove the batteries if the scale is not to be used for a long time in case the leakage corrodes the scale. The batteries included are not rechargeable. Please do not charge them.
