Safety Tips and Warnings

Tips: Read the safety tips and warnings for HOMI Switch comprehensively before use. Use this produce in
accordance with its instructions, safety tips and warnings to prevent unnecessary damage to the product
and potential dangers to users.
Keep the product away from water.
Clean the product with dry cloth.
Use the product in accordance with its instructions and do not block its vents.
Keep the product away from ignition sources, such as heat sinks, heat accumulators, stovepipe and other heat production settings (including audio amplifiers).
Do not touch the product and the power cord with wet hands so as to lower the risk of electric shock and the damage to the product. Do not let the product get wet or become damp.
Unplug the power supply of this product in thunderstorm days or when it has been not used for a long time.
Do not expose this product and its battery to open fire or overheating environment. Dispose the waste battery in accordance with instructions.
Users shall not remove and repair the product without authorization.

Battery Description

Tips:   : By default, the remote control is not equipped with batteries, due to the safety requirements of some express companies. Install AAA dry cells before use.
Caution: Improper disposal of the lithium battery may cause an explosion. Do not throw the battery into fire.
**** Keep the battery away from &y children. Dispose the waste battery in accordance with local regulations.

Warranty Information

We warrant this product as free of defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of shipment. If during the period of warranty this product proves defective under normal use, we will repair or replace this product, provided that this product has not been subjected to mechanical, electrical, or cther abuse or modifications. If it fails under conditions other than those covered will be repaired at the current price of parts and labor in effect at the time of repair. Such repairs are warranted for six (6) months from the day of reshipment to the buyer.

8.2 Connection Steps

1. Connect the input devices to the input ports using 4 HDMI cables.
2. Connect the output port to the display device using 1 HDMI cable.
3. Connect the amplifier or soundbar to the S/PDIF port using Toslink cable.
4. Connect speaker to the AUX L/R audio output. Tips: You can choose S/PDIF audio output or L/R audio output depending on your needs.
5. Connect the power cable to the HDMI Switch’s DC 5V port and plug it to a power socket.
6. By now, the connection has been completed. Turn on the power supply and the HDMI Switch will begin to work.

Tips: If you get no sound from L/R audio out, please change the audio format to “2.0″(refer to Chapter 10), as the L/R audio out only support 2.0 channel and the switch would not convertthe audio format.

Switch Modes Description

Press the button ‘Input’ until all of the indicators flash once, the switch enters Auto Switch mode or Manual Switch mode. The default is Manual Switch mode.
9.1 Manual Switch Mode
In this mode, use panel button or IR remote control to switch input port.
9.2 Auto Switch Mode
In this mode:

1. When attaching a new input device to the switch, the HDMI switch will switch to this just plugged in source automatically.
2. When removing a connected input source, the HDMI switch will switch to the first valid input source automatically.
   Tips: Also you can use panel button or IR remote control to switch input port.

Audio Modes Description

The Switch supports the high channel audio mode. You can select the audio output of the corresponding channels by pressing the audio mode selection button ‘Audio’ on the front panel or the key ‘P’ on the remote control.

51 In this mode, the input device can select up to 5.1 Channel audio regardless of whether the display supports 5.1 Channel or not.
2.0 : In this mode, the input device can select up to 2.0 Channel audio regardless of whether the display supports 2.0 Channel or not.
Auto: In this mode, the supported audio format is depended on the connected display.
Tips:

1. The L/R audio output port cannot support more than 2.0 Channels audio. If Multi channels is played, the L/R audio will not output correctly.
2. Change audio mode on switch will not convert the audio format from input source, but may change the preferred audio setting of the input source device.

Tips: Unspecified buttons at above are non-functional.
