The product uses a power supply with an output voltage of 4 V and an amperage of 1-2 A. It is not permitted to use a power supply with different parameters. The device must be switched off during charging. The red LED indicates charging. The green LED indicates that the device is fully charged. Do not use the device during charging.

Placement of the adhesive insert.
Place the glue cartridge by inserting it through the rear opening of the gun as far as it will go.

Working with the device

• The product should be fully charged using a suitable power supply before use.
• Insert a glue cartridge with a diameter of 6.7 – 7.9 mm. Sliding the switch to the ON position will start the device, which will go into the warm-up state. The blue LED will light up. After 3 – 5 minutes the unit will warm up. Press the trigger to squeeze out the glue.
• Do not remove the unfinished adhesive cartridge during use. For the next use, simply reheat the device.
• The red LED indicates that the device is charging, the green LED a full charge and the blue LED will turn off if there is no power.

Warning

• The cartridge should be replaced when the unit is switched off.
• Read the instructions carefully to minimise the risk of fire or injury.
• Eye protection should be worn.
• Do not dismantle the device, crush it or throw it into a fire.
• The room temperature during charging should be between 5 – 40°C. Beware of explosion or ignition.
• Exposing the battery to mechanical damage through impact can cause a short circuit, ignition or explosion.

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS

Why are the charging times for the same battery different?
Battery charging time depends on a number of factors. A high level of charge will result in a shorter charging time. A low charge level in combination with a low ambient temperature can result in a long charging time. A very high battery temperature will trigger an internal protection device, which will stop charging. The same will happen at low temperatures below -5°C. In this situation, remove the battery from the device and wait until it has reached the correct temperature before charging again. Do not charge the second battery immediately after charging the first one as there is a risk of overheating. Wait at least 15 minutes.

Why is the run time of the same battery different?
Long periods of non-use of the battery will result in a reduction in its operating time. This is caused by the battery discharging itself. Charging and discharging the battery several times will solve the problem. The battery will discharge faster with intensive use. Do not charge when the ambient temperature is below -5°C or above 45°C. This will adversely affect the efficiency of the battery.

Why doesn’t the glue come out immediately when the trigger is pressed after the first charge?
The glue flow channel is empty when first used. Only after it has been filled by the melted glue is it possible for the glue to flow freely. This is a normal phenomenon.

Disposal of the battery
In order to protect the environment and maintain safe conditions, dispose used batteries correctly. Please consult your local waste disposal service for appropriate information. The battery should be fully discharged and wrapped in tape to avoid leakage and short circuits. Do not attempt to disassemble or open the battery.

Safety requirements

• The locking screw may come into contact with the wire inside the unit during assembly. Hold the glue gun by the handle during operation.
• The accessory, nozzle and nozzle guard heat up during operation.
