Installation Guide

Remove the 4 x Phillips head screws (and set them aside) that hold the control box cover to the control box backing plate.

Lift the cover to reveal the colored control plug wires.

Remove the screws that hold the control plug wires to the contactor and detach these current control plug wires.
Make note of what color wire goes to what location.
Yellow Wire

Undo the 13mm bolt and nut slightly to release the red wire.
Red Wire

Undo the backing nut on the control plug and discard the plug assembly.

Install the new extended control box plug by feeding the wires through the hole in the control box cover where the original control plug was removed.

Now reverse the process. Connect the corresponding colored wires from the extended control plug to the contactor. Re-applying the screws.
Red Wire (Make sure to tighten the 13mm nut.)
Brown Wire
Black Wire
Yellow Wire

Replace the control box cover and fit the 4 original screws.

Mount the angle bracket and new plug in a convenient location. (E.g. In the vehicle’s grille or under the bonnet etc.)

Test operation by plugging in the wired hand controller, as per the winch instructions.
