WARNING!
It is highly recommended that installation is performed by an authorised technician. Incorrect installation could result in the winch not operating correctly and could cause injury or even death.

INSTALLATION GUIDE

  1. If connected, disconnect the winch power leads from the battery.
  2. Utilising the provided mounting hardware, find a suitable location within 300mm from the vehicles battery to mount the winch isolation switch.
  3. Route the winch power cable to the isolation switch. The existing winch power cable lug needs to be replaced with the M10 lug supplied. This provides the opportunity to cut your existing power cable to specific length of your vehicle’s installation.
  4. On confirmation of the suitable cable length, cut the power cable and crimp on the new M10 lug provided.
  5. Attach the main power cable from the winch to the isolation switch.
  6. Attach the short 300mm cable from the isolation switch to the vehicle battery.
  7. Using the cable ties provided, ensure all cables are secure and have no potential of rubbing on other vehicle components.

  2. To disconnect the power to the winch, turn the red key in reverse 90 degrees and remove the switch from the base. Install the rubber cap to prevent water and debris from entering the switch.
  3. Store the red key in a readily available, secure location.
