- Using the USB C-C cable provided, connect the docking station to the laptop. The power source is necessary.
- This Docking station is based on DisplayLink chip, and you need to install the DisplayLink Manager App to experience the full video function.
How to Install the DisplayLink Manager App
First of all, download the latest DisplayLink Manager App from
https://www.synaptics.com/products/displaylink-graphics/downloads.
Choose the proper app according to your system.

- Double click the DisplayLink Manager app and follow the setup to finish the installation.
- When using the DisplayLink Manager app for the first time, it will ask for permission to record the screen.
- To grant permission, follow these steps
- Click Apple System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Screen Recording.
- Check the DisplayLink Manager.
- Enter your password or use fingerprint authentication to proceed.

How to Install the “DisplayLink Manager” App
First of all download the latest “DisplayLink Manager” App:

MacOS
- Double clicking the “DisplayLink Manager” app, then following the setup and finish the installation.
- Using the “DisplayLink Manager” app for the first time and it will ask for the permission of “Screen Recording” .
- You can follow those steps
- Clicking Apple System Preferences > Security & Privacy >Privacy > Screen Recording.
- Ticking the “DisplayLink Manager” .
- Inputting the Password or Use the fingerprint to enter.
- After installing the app, the menu bar will show an icon . there are some quick-setting menus. You can set the app automatic startup.
- Setting resolution and display mode
- System Preferences > Displays
Windows
- Double clicking the “DisplayLink.exe” then following the setup and complete the installation.
- After installing the driver, you can extend 2 monitors.
- Start>Settings>System>Display

Q1:HDMI 1 can`t be used.
The C port of your laptop must support DP alt mode, and HDMI1 can output video. -
Q2:DisplayLink 1 &2 can`t be used.
Make sure that the “DisplayLink Manager” app is installed and running. In macOS, ensure that the app is given the permission of “Screen Recording” in the settings. -
Q3:When connecting a wireless mouse or keyboard, it may not work properly?
Most wireless device like mouse, keyboard, and Bluetooth device work in the 2.4Ghz wireless band. USB 3.0 Port has potential for interference that can affect the device’ s performance. The most effective method is to add a USB 2.0 extension cable between the HUB and the receiver.
